Like everyone else on the board, I am really looking
forward to Eurovision 2004 tomorrow, it's a great way of
bringing Europe plus some other countries together through
the international language of pop music. Now I don't know if
this idea has been mooted before, but perhaps to celebrate
this great occasion there could be an XLT Eurovision, there
are after all members from over 130 countries. I propose a
very lengthy system of semi finals, eliminations, vested
interests and bribes to narrow down one representative from
each country.

I really like Sweden's song "Det gör ont" ("It hurts").
The girl is a bit nice to, and funny... She also looks
a bit like Kjell Bergkvist (famous swedish actor).
Very nice track (with good lyrics). In fact:
One of the best pop-tracks I've heard in a long while.

he acts and looks like gay, but he has a wife and a kid.
it's really strange.

Terry Wogan:

"Ah sure, isn't it our Spainish cousin Nacmat, with... a
little ditty he wrote, not so long ago, on his personal
computer. One of the favourites..... fair play to him. So...
representing Spain.... Nacmat"

im surprised no-one has mentioned how bad the british song
is yet. we havent had a decent song since bardot sung one
step further in 1982. sadly in the shadows of bucks fizz
winning it the year before, it only managed to finish 7th
when germany won with a little peace by nicole, which also
beat bardot to the no. 1 spot in the charts thus becoming
officially the UKs 500th number 1 single. the whole thing
was completely rigged and 22 years later im still rather
bitter about it.

Everyone knows that last year, worldwide, 150 - 170 million
viewers watched, with joy, Eurovision. To put that in
perspective. that figure is rougly the amount of topics you
started last month.

Heh, tolstoyed, i would say it is exactly the opposite of
conservative. Lot's of gay marriges and less predjudice than
in many other countries.
