The best part is the voting. Listening to all the
countries, telling us all the points they gave to all
those countries one by one. Just to make sure it's
totally boring. They could just count the votes behind the
screens and just tell us the top 10 or something... but
noooo, it's much more interesting to broadcast two hours
worth of people giving points.

I can't believe there is a topic about this on xltronic btw
:-p

I don't know about "gay", but it has a good chance of
winning the coveted title of "worst thing I ever heard".

hehe bosnia was totally gay

am i wrong or do a lot of songs have an "eastern vibe" or
some like that? like copying last year's winner...

whath did everybodu think of belgium though?

I was just thinking that, about the eastern vibe thing.

Belgium, I'd say: Respectable.

I will probably never understand what's so good about it.
Some of the songs are quite nice... (I liked it better when
everyone had to sing in their own language though). but I
can't stand to watch that show. I think the whole family is
watching it right now... making lists, giving points to all
the countries. Arrgh! Why? Why? Why does everyone always go
crazy this one day of the year? :-p

oh and by the way, according to my brother, the french
commentators of the eurovision program compared the belgian
(lady) singer to dana international, you know, the
transsexual israeli winner of some years ago... damned
franch!

(a belgian singer sings the entry for france btw)

UK isn't bad but it doesn't stand out paticularly. Poland
was OUTRAGEOUS, i liked the salsa break.

Lots of SHakira inspired tracks this year.

Swedens up now!!

didn't follow the contest enough to have favourites. all i
know is that bosnia was gay, ukraine had a xena vibe going
on and sweden was hot!

offline Sido Dyas from a computer on 2004-05-15 14:49 [#01189894]

Its funny how the country that won the year before always
send something totaly outrageous.
When sweden hosted we had this crazy fat fuck who think hes
an indian or something. Look at turkeys controbution , they
know they won't win anyways so what the hell.

offline dog_belch from Netherlands, The on 2004-05-15 14:51 [#01189896]

I think it's so expensive to host noone wants to do it
twice. Romania's entry was a real Porno-nightmare, like the
Borg woman from that Star Trek film.

it sounds kinda traditional, rather than the bland plastic
shizzum from most o' t'other countries!!! :@

what? WHAT? serbia sucked ass.
bosnia all the way - that guy's hips were amazing!
i can't believe you cats are actually judging it musically -
everyone knows eurovision is all about glitter, dance
routines and politics :p

my favourite part of the show was the adlibbing before the
winners came on again - those hosts were appalling - even
worse that the presenters a few years back that insisted on
doing the whole thing in rhyming couplets.

oh, how i love eurovision!

Ukraine had the the best song, i think they deserved to win.
The Uk will never win again, it doesn't have any friends,
who voted for the Uk, Estonia, Switzerland, Ireland (out of
pity).... At least Greece and Cyprus can still rely on each
other.
