Instant Bootlegs

This is a really great idea. Hopefully it will catch on
quickly, with more popular artists starting to do it also.

It would be cooler if getting access to the gig (ie buying
a ticket) entitled you to a copy for a nominal fee (just
$1/$2 to cover costs). $10 is a bit much, you could almost
buy a "real" bootleg and have something tangible for that
much...

Yeah, it does seem expensive when you think about an extra
$10 on top of a $35-$40 ticket you have to pay to see
popular bands. But first this is only going to be offered at
small indie-rock shows, which usually only charge a cover of
about $5-$10. So, it's really not that bad of a deal when
you think of it like that.

this is a good concept that some artists are doing these
days, it should be an option on wether you wnat to buy the
show or not, not just an automatic $10 on to the existing
ticket price

Would everyone queue up after a show to get one? How many
bands would let people take a recording of a show they'd
just played without listening back to it beforehand? What if
the show was full of musical fuck ups, could the band say
"Disengage the pen drive
nooooooooooooooooooooo--o---o--o--oo--ooooh"

I think, as an idea, there are too many flaws.
