...bush and cheney get to testify to the 9-11 commision.

oh, but never mind they get to appear together, in private,
and NOT UNDER OATH.

I found it funny that they have basically admitted they are
going to be lying before they even do it...and people aren't
even going to know what they are lying about.

What is the reason it is to be held in private, have they
used national security as an excuse or anything? Because
other than that publically elected officials in any capacity
should be fully accountable to those who elected them and
those whom they serve.

It is to be held in private as Bush is in fact an incredibly
clever man. His IQ is rumoured to be closed to 168 rather
than 68 as previously believed. The reasons for his idiotic
appearance are apparently due to a loyalty to his father and
not wanting to show him up by having intelligence greater
than that of a glass of water. Therefore he must testify in
private as without an autocue he is likely to not remain
monosyllabic and actually use the word taramosolata twice.

Except his dad really is a fucking very clever man...they
may elect stupid people into government but they don't give
you the head job at the CIA unless you have intelligence.

As if the oath would make a difference.

Ah screw it, Truth is boring, right?

Odd as it sounds I honestly think swearing on the bible
would make a massive difference to GWB.

honestly now... it's hard to try to remain remotely
objective about these things anymore... how on earth can
Americans expect me to not be spiteful when this kind of
bullshit is tolerated and swallowed whole?
please be sure to express your discontent loudly and often,
Zeus...
