Those sorts of posts were sort of fun to do anonymously in the old xltronic pre-account era... when individuals had no built history on which people could judge them. Sure, there are certain people who are memetically susceptible to things like religious or racial memes and could cause unnecessary pain to someone by immitating them, but the point of that thread was humor, given that if something like that were said by a modern civilized person, it would be considered ludicrously rude and not of our time/culture. Some, who forgot that this used to be a messageboard dedicated to a weird insane man like aphex twin, were offended. But who cares. |
