1840: William Henry Harrison (died in office)
1860: Abraham Lincoln (assassinated)
1880: James A. Garfield (assassinated)
1900: William McKinley (assassinated)
1920: Warren G. Harding (died in office)
1940: Franklin D. Roosevelt (died in office)
1960: John F. Kennedy (assassinated)
1980: Ronald Reagan (survived assassination attempt)
2000: George W. Bush ????????????

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost a child while living in the White House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head.

Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln.

Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in
1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in
1939.

Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.

Now hang on to your seat.
Lincoln was shot at the theater named "Ford."
Kennedy was shot in a car called "Lincoln" made by "Ford."

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

And here's the "kicker":

A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland.

A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.

Lincoln was shot in a theater and the assassin ran to a

warehouse...
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and the assassin ran to a

theater...

wtf....this looks like an staged happening.
i think this isn't JUST an coincidence, cos all of the years
are paired (dunno the right word for that),and the other
facts are just crossings.

it's really weird...america is an staged country

numerology is bollox, and those numbers are misleading.

for instance, kennedy was assasinated in 1963... those dates
make it look like everything happend on an even year; a
multiple of ten.

the problem with numerology is that it completely ignores
the infinite combinations of numbers that don't fit it's
patterns, and draws 100% significance to the few that do.

not assassinated. I dunno, i'm not up on US presidential
history.

get someone to attempt to keep the pattern up.

Click my link instead of buying into this.

"The coincidences are easily explained as the simple product
of mere chance. It's not difficult to find patterns and
similarities between any two marginally-related sets of
data, and coincidences similar in number and kind can be
(and have been) found between many different pairs of
Presidents. Our tendency to seek out patterns wherever we
can stems from our desire to make sense of our world; to
maintain a feeling that our universe is orderly and can be
understood. In this specific case two of our most beloved
Presidents were murdered for reasons that make little or no
sense to many of us, and by finding patterns in their deaths
we also hope to find a larger cosmic "something" that
seemingly provides some reassuring (if indefinite) rhyme or
reason why these great men were prematurely snatched from
our mortal sphere."

nah, not exactly.

basically there was a problem counting the votes in
florida... a whole bunch of bullshit went down, after a
hurried recount and when the smoke cleared bush was delcared
the victor.

supposedly, when they were given more time to do a more
thourough re-count it was shown that bush had in fact lost
the election in florida, which meant he lost the election...
but, it was too late because he had already been sworn in.

and the real kicker is that his brother was the governor of
florida... the man with final say about the recount.

at least, that's the way i see it.

By the way plaster, a majority of American's did not vote
for Bush. Bush won the majority of Electoral votes, not
Popular votes (people).

Gore had something like 500,000 more votes?

But in elections here, when a president gets 51% of the
votes, they get 100% of the electoral votes for the state,
so it leaves open the possibility that the candidate with
the most popular votes doesn't get elected.

Also ephos, the final say was left up to a court. What was
it? The supreme court? I forget. I sometimes hear Bush
referred to as 'our supremely elected president' or
something.

i think the supreme court simply decided not to count
certain absentee balots, and declared that there wouldn't be
a 2nd re-count... although it's pretty much the same thing,
i don't think they actually declared him the winner.

i could be wrong about that.

plaster: sworn in = the act of formally becoming president
