AAAAH!

I was listening to Bjørk, and my little sister came up the
stairs. She asks me: "what are you listening to..?"

I answer "bjørk," and, as if it was programmed into her,
she suddenly starts going on about "why do you listen to
her? doesn't she sing in some language she invented that
no-one else understands? she can't sing! even that
IDOL-contestant sang 'it's oh so quiet' better than her!
THAT MUSIC IS CRAP! SHE'S CRAZY! WHY DO YOU LISTEN TO
HER!??"

WHERE do they GET this shit from? Her and her friends have
probably NEVER heard Bjørk before, they've only seen that
"celebrities go berserk" program on tv where she did
something to some reporter who bugged her!

and "that music is crap!" : they listen to 50cent and
britney for fucks sake!

AAAAAH!

that's all.

my sisters into pop and rap, when i lived with her and my
mum, she would sneak her snoppy friends to my bedroom door
and try and listen in on what i was listening to, whether it
was SAWII or bjork. i would hear faintly
"ur brothers a fag, what sort of faggit music is that"
shortly afterwards, i would flip in drukqs afx237v7, put on
a clown mask, and swing open my door and scream in all of
their teeny=bopper faces.

haha! I think i might try something like that sometime!

My sister isn't really into anything, just whatever's on
top20 at the time... so.. if Bjørk or Aphex came into the
top20, she'd be all hyped, and would want to copy my cds and
shit!

I happened once before, with Black Eyed Peas! I bought the
album for party-use, and like, one/two weeks later, they
were on the charts. Earlier, she had complained about when I
played it too loud, but now she has copied it, and listens
to it even louder!

disfigured.

your sister is just a single case (ok, Gwely Mernans' is a
second one) - there are young people that listen to the
music we here love. there just not as much. which doesn't
make things any different than they are now. we've always
been a minority.

no, not always! Bjørk was "pop" earlier (199x), don't you
remember?!

and.. my sister is NOT a single case.. why do you think
Britney and eminem and 50cent are on the charts with
MILLIONS of records sold?!?

you people understand my suffering :)

each morning i wake up hearing crappy commercial rock music,
black eyed peas, random 'top 40 greatest roflmao hits' or
other crap

my hifi set is much more powerfull than that so i just flip
in some noise or fastpaced laptop glitch crapola (kid606
that is)

but i just wanna stay in bed till i start to rot, i dont
want to defend my precious ears against mindless music for
the masses

yes, fortunately, I too have a HUGE FUCKING STEREO (even
though it's only a two-channel, its frequency-range is WIDE
AS FUCK! It overlaps quite a few subs (we were watching
"finding nemo" the other day, and when they were in that
current, the whole fucking room rumbled!))

When I worked at Woolies I used to put a mix CD I'd made on
the stereo. This one girl took exception to the fact that I
didn't have a single chart tune on there. She said I was
being a mindless slave in following those who were trying to
be different.

I had no reply to that. That could've been because I was
laughing too hard or because there was no reply that didn't
involve strangling her while vomiting down her throat.

clothing-store or anything like that... all the fucking
customers are fucking stupid!

craz: true.. I hope Bjørk gets a new song out, and ends up
on the charts soon, just so that she'll come begging to copy
the cds.

"mindless slave in following those who were trying to
be different."
what a stupid girl!

from what i understand of her statement. all who don't
listen to familiar pop songs are like sheep or the followers
of sheep.
but i thought pop-music primarily were being enjoyed by
sheep?

conclusion:we are all sheep.

haha! even worse!

fucking airheads! If I wanted to be "special" and "cool,"
i'd run around town with a huge fucking boombox blasting a
mix of Mc Solaar and all of Tom Cruises lines from Eyes Wide
Shut.

The only person I suspect is a poser when it comes to "I
want to be cool and listen to things that no-one else
listens to, and therefore, I need to explain myself and all
my actions and feelings to everyone whenever I do
something," is some stupid "comic-book-artist" that lives
here in Bergen... She comes off as a complete poser when you
connect her words to her (Ronja, for those who care or
know).

She is the worst kind of person. I wish i was wittier
though. I could've come back with something really cool.

I didn't though.

Amusingly I saw her in a club a couple of years later and
she was one of the morons on teh podium dancing to Las
Ketchup. I started laughing again.
I never did make a worse CD to play for work. I wonder what
she'd make of Snares. She looks like Su Pollard but really
short.

My girlfriend finds it hilarious it when I start talking
about music. Apparently I get so enthusiastic about the
smallest details that she can't fail to laugh. She finds it
cute too. BONUS!

I'd like to start a clothes-store, where everything was as
in other clothes-stores, but the people were actually
intelligent.

This one time, when me and a friend were out looking for
some clothes, we were in a jack&jones shop... my friend
tried on some pants, and when he came out, it was obvious
that the pants didn't fit. The (strange, slightly gay) guy
that worked at the store asked "anything wrong?" when my
friend was hanging the pants back up. My friend said: "no,
the pants just didn't fit." and the guy quickly replied
with.. one of the most stupid things I've ever heard in a
clothing-shop: "But.. they're our most-selling pants! they
MUST fit you!"

...

We left...
