Yeah i just finally listened to the samples! Awesome
material! Not what i thought it was gonna be like at all.
I'd be curious to hear more work from this artist.

So chill and relaxed :)

the first one sounds like "gavin bryars" or "arvo pärt',
full of strings & sunlights, the second one is kind of
"medievil rave", the rest is ambient/concrete, really good
but check also robert normandeau 'www.electrocd.com or
rephlex'

shipmeadow is amazing! I liked the track for ages but
I never knew who did it until recently. Thanks for reminding
me of this, I just ordered it, looks like Warpmart only has
the vinyl, but I just managed to track down a CD copy in ...
Milwaukee of all places.

Wahay, I just got it in the post. It's the awesomes.
Obviously Shipmeadow is amazing but I am liking the
electroacoustic tracks very much, and I must say I prefer
"Medieval Dance" to "Midieval Rave" (sorry Rich, I know
you'll be disappointed). I don't know that much about
elctroacoutic or concrete music, but all that I hear (the
originators like Paul Schaeffer and newer stuff like
Normandeau) I like. I wonder if anyone does know "this sort
of thing" and could recommend some listening material?

I ordered the 4 track vinyl from warpmart, and oh it's just
lush in all possible senses of the word. I think i'll get
the cd as well if i can find it cheap, i want those other 3
tracks.

if you like the acousmatic trx of macbeth, get this, one of
the best record i've heard in age (any genres):

http://www.electrocd.com/cat.e/imed_0575.html

by robert normaneau (try tracks 2 & 10), somewhere between
classic normandeau & terry riley & popol vuh

some of the scariest music i ever met

Cheers. Interesting that track 11 is entitled "Hamlet -
Machine with Actors" There must be some spooky Shakespearean
link with the dear old electroacousticologists.
