Can't stop listening to this track. It moves me immensly.
Thanks Donnie Darko (first tune in the film).

If you're trying to figure out Donnie Darko then remember
this:

You can't change the past but you can change the future.

Frank is Donnie's mind.

The jet engine would not have fallen if Donnie hadn't have
gotten out of bed at the start. (Thus creating the wormhole
at the end that 'ends the world' i.e. it shifts everything
back to the time that is the start of the film (when DD gets
out of bed).

The engine still falls at the end because time has gone back
(You can't change the past but you can change the future)
and DD knows this hence the reason he continues laughing
into the past at the end.

DD sacrifices his life in the end to save the others as he's
seen the future.

If DD didn't die then that period of time would always
loop.

YES

That whole album is just breathtaking that track is one of
the standouts. Their first four and a half albums are pretty
much solid gold through and through.

I actually can't remember where it's played in the movie,
though, I didn't like it very much. I sure as heck remember
where Love Will Tear Us Apart is, though.

Yeah, Ocean Rain is one of those perfect albums.
Perfect meaning no weak songs. Which to me is rare. Seems
like every album has at least one dud on it.

I never liked Thorn of Crowns, but other than that, every
song is a slam dunk. Every artsy movie should include a cut
from it.

Hmmmmm, so Frank was in The Lost Boys which, if I remember
rightly, had an Echo and The Bunnymen song on it. People are
strange I think it was.

:D Did independence day have a track by them?
