Hello, i have a couple of things i would like you opinion on: The first is a doodle i made with an sh-101 (with a beat as well) The second is an intro i am doing for a band who i know (who are called drink drivers against mothers) You will find them both . It would be lovely to know what you think... : ) |

experiment 101 is a very short clip, but it has a lot of potential. sounds great so far. stentch is well done, but there's something about it i don't really like. i'm pretty sure it's the band. the track starts off really well but towards the middle i kind of stop enjoying it. wire.fm is very slow right now. |

Ermm it isn't finished but i really like it. I think i might have to edit the middle a bit but there isn't anything of the bamd that hasn't been fucked with. |

er .. the first thing (the roland thing) is like a bar - its a single bar with about 3 (?) parts and you repeat it 4 times? - well, you know, as a single bar its ok ish i guess - it wasnt utter shite (but it wasnt really actually even moderately good tbh m8) - but I'd probably need to hear it in the context of, say, another 15 to 20 bars you know the intro thing is quite interesting |

what do you want m8 - you posted summit - i dont personally think it was worth posting yet (i spent miniutes of my life downloading your shit only to find it was at a stage that most producers arrive at in about a pico second .. you ask for opinion thats mine - post it again when its more of a track and you will receive feedback about it as a track) |

i think they both sounds like intros.. the 2min one is great i think.. sounds fresh like a real nice and typical rock intro, it's really cool in the end when u mess it up and drill the sounds up a bit. If i where a rockband id want that one as an intro reminds me allot of Tool ! so i think im gonna dig up my old tool albums and give them a listen for old times sake! good work |

Ok, the firsto ne i liked because the drum work was really nice and simple but it was really effective and you make sh101 sound beautiful. The second one was alright, i would like to hear the final cut. I thought the ending noises were excellent, really grainy and really effective. The subtle percussion was very nice. Good work yet again, Skink. |

I liked the doodle man. That's quite fun :D The Drink Drivers against Mothes one is pretty cool. I like where it's headed. Could be cool. It reminds of another tune I've heard. Same sort of style but I don't know what. Very promising though :D |

I listened to all of the track there dude. And i must say i am impressed with the quality of the tunesi still like drempt an awful lot and the find your happy (is that what it's called) needs to be at least a minute longer! Still birth machine: some of the sounds reminded me of some of the effects used on the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy radion series, was that intentional? |

Skink: Thank you for listening mate :) 'Find your happy, again' is yet to be finished but i don;t want it to be an awful long track, like you say, maybe a minute more. Dreamt = one of my favourite tracks i have ever done ever Still Birth Machine = I love Hitchhikers guide but when i made that i hadn't seen it. So no they are not intentional. It is supposed to be a musical representation of a painting by H.R. Giger :) Thank you so much for listening |

Hi skink, I am liking that beat experiment a lot, sounds like it could be part of a very promising track. That intro 'stench of abused power..' sound very intriguing, are the band happy with it? I am going to have to hear how that whole song turns out if they use your intro, which i'm sure they will! |
