yeah, i know i know i'm a retard when it comes to this, but i would highly appreciate some help. i'm about to reformat my site, and i want to make everything brand spanking new. I already have the art done, and want to make a new sidebar and such. i also want to make to where i can have my text flushed left against this bar without being underneath it. any advice? |

alright...here goes. is how my site is now. The idea I have for my page is something similar to except instead of the link menu/ directory (news,events,msgbrd, etc) being up top, i'll have it in a column on the left, all lined up. I want to be able to have the text in there on the remaining space to the right, under my banner up top, and be able to write it freely without much trickery, and not have it end up underneath the menu. Does that make sense? |

yeah - black background, white letters. i'm not really attached to my link/vlink/alink colors, i'll probably change them to cooler shades, like blues and/or greens. I'm not too familiar with text color codes. |

I made a straight-up page with an area to the left with links, an area at the top with room for header and a main content-area. if you want more areas, read the comments. If you don't understand, ask. |
