OMG OMG OMFG!!!

This might actually be good =)

They should incorporate the music from the original 8 bit
game in some way so you get the rught vibes.

When are they going to make a Castlevania movie dammit!

they better include the original 8-bit and 16-bit scores as
well.

2nd rule.. things would be gritty, not shiny. Samus would
have a busted ass suit.

3rd rule.. puppets, no cg actors.

this all sounds quite nice.

except how are you gonna make throbbing, flying,
jellatinous, blinking, transparent metroid puppets?

John Woo is not just an action-movie director!

he's an action-movie genious!

Ang Lee could do it, though. But he still wouldn't manage
the action!

id like to see it as more a horror sci-fi thing.

more alien and 2001, less starship troopers and dune.

Jon Woo definitely sucks lately.
my god Windtalkers was awful.
Face Off was o.k.
Mission Impossible II was almost O.K.

but his classic Hong Kong shit is awsome.

see The Killer

see Hard Boiled

see Once a Thief

see his best movie (in my opinion) Bullet In The Head

John Woo is, or was a great director... why he went over to
the dark side (hollywood) i'll never know but his early hong
kong films were awesome. Hard Boiled and the Killer being my
faves. This new film sounds promicing, could be his return
to form.

HARD BOILED and THE KILLER kick total fucking ass.

that scene in Hard Boiled where the eyepatch guy is having
the shoot-out with Chow Yun Fat and the undercover cop, and
all he is using is a single shot targeting pistol... fucking
rad.

i wish i could direct this flick...sorta like the first game
i wouldn't even show samus out of the uniform until the end
of the movie...(of course i'm sure the female star would be
pissed about having only 10 min on screen)

kinda surprise the audience thinking she was really a
he...since none of them have even picked ed up the game...

i've dreamed about making this flick since i picked up that
little NES game paddle and played for hours... :(*

But, at least it didn't go to that NO-TALENT Paul WS
Anderson....phew. he's fuct up more movies than should be
humany possible. Usually when you do something shitty,
someone will recognize that, and say NO when you ask to
direct something again...too bad lewis black wasn't a
die-hard film geek like me...i'd love to hear him rant on
the movie industry....

hmm, since she has the mask on it'd sound processed
distorted....sorta like Princess Liea in ROTJ in jabba's
palace. maybe give a brief glance of the eyes behind the
visor...like a frame or two to kinda give you the idea...but
not show you.

most of the shots from her point of view would be looking
out of the visor....you won't be able to see inside...ya
know what i'm gettin gat here?
