Yes, it is brilliant. I cannot wait for the GC version (due
out Friday in USA, no European release date yet...), it'll
be awesome in four player.

I haven't played it yet. Wario World was pretty weak, but I
like silly willy games like this.

Man, Wario is the king. Wario Land for the original Gameboy
was a trailblazer because you got to be the villian, and I
ALWAYS choose Wario when I'm playing a Mario Kart game.

I'm too busy playing mariogolf for the cube,
I'm pretty sure it 's been out in the states for nearly a
year now and was finaly released over here last
friday.

It has nothing in common with Wario world (asides from the
main character)...

More like Bishi Bashi/the Mario Party Subgames. I love the
"classic nintendo" selection of games on it. Duck hunt,
Metroid, Super Mario Brothers, Zelda, Snes F-Zero, Dr.
Mario, they're all there. It even manages to parody those
Eastern pirate game compilatons in a great way (see the
Super Wario Land game) :)

while... sucks you just now have access to it :|

But what's the scoop on wario ware? sounds nifty.

I love Wario Ware. It's the best GBA game I have played.
Instant fun. Ceri, have you got a link for the GC version?

Official Site. Doesn't have a whole lot of info specific to
the GC version, but I read about in a magazine (and saw
screenshots of it). Apparently there are some new 4 player
simultaneous games (like there are 2 player ones on the
GBA). Also various "party game" modes where players play
games in turn, in solo games. Meanwhile, the other players
control characters that can obscure the screen and put the
player completing the task off! Sounds like it'll cause more
examples of real world violence as a result of "competative
play" than bomberman. ;-)

The graphics look hardly improved from the GBA version, but
they were insultingly simplistic in that too, which is part
of the charm. Gotta love those pseudo-game and watch
graphics...

... way down under in australia, so it was obviously a PAL
issue like many games. Apparently the PAL release gets some
more goodies thrown in for the aussie version but I'm yet
discover what they are.

As for Warioware I thought it was pretty entertaining on the
GBA, they way it's played demands alot of quick reflexes and
shows how much nintendo know about efficient lo-rez
gameplay.

the gamecube version seems to be more multiplayer based. i
tend to be more of a one player person myself so i'm kind of
iffy on getting this although it looks awesome.

Wario Ware is a must own for the GBA.
Last night I got to level 304 on the monkey climbing a tree
to get to the bananas game. Whats the highest level you've
got to on no particular game?

Anyone up for a hi score challenge on the GBA version?
Nothing too competative, just suggest a game and we'll try
to better other's score?

Bear in mind the GBA version was almost entirely single
player (apart from about 4 games and the challenge of seeing
if your mates can beat your score) and the GC has all that
in it. It also has a lot of extra single player modes
(explore the site I linked to...), so even if you only play
stuff solo, it should be great.

I've wanted to buy this game for a while now. I've been in
the videogamestore with the box in my hands a couple of
times even.

But something's holding me back. I love the concept of the
game... weird and wacky minigames, each lasts for a couple
of seconds etc. I can already imagine it. And with
nintendo's quirky humor it's probably really great...

But doesn't it get really old after you've seen all
the minigames? I imagine constantly being surprised by yet
another insane minigame is what wario ware is all about. 200
games seems like alot, but surely you must have seen them
all after a couple of days... is it still fun to play once
you've seen everything?

beat 76 on the paper aeroplane one.

disappointed with the graphcis but I don't know if they knew
what to expect.. I'm sure it'll be fun. Have you played any
of the Mario Party games?

Yeah, The last one on the N64 (3?) and 4 on the GC. I've not
played 5 yet. Unlike Warioware though, I wouldn't play them
in Single player mode. If you've got access to a PSOne (or
PS2), pick up a copy of "Bishi Bashi Special". Fantastic
party game and the games are just insane.

I have to get my copy back off Jedi Chris, he'd better not
of sold it when he got rid of his PS2... I like "Jump for
the Meat" and "Knock them All off". That was the first game
I got for my PSOne. Total quality. I don't get why games
like that aren't at #1 in the charts for weeks, their appeal
is so wide.

The reviews for it are OK, but they said they added nothing
new to the original except the ''Outta My Way'' mode, which
sounds hilarious. I'm definitely not getting it, I'll
download the ROM.

Just for info: Warioware Smooth Moves for the Wii is
absolutely superb and is the reason I will be buying a Wii.
Just like the original warioware games in format, but the
minigames are so much better. It's hilarious watching
friends doing the games too. I can see this being "crying
with laughter" funny when you're pissed up too.

Never before whilst playing a videogame have I nearly
knocked myself out (in real life) by jumping up and banging
my head on a chandelier.

i'm really looking forward to that but have been slightly
put off by the reviews it's been getting. the monkey ball
one got better reviews and yet i find a good 40 % of the
mini games a bit flawed control wise. so far the only wii
games i've played without being slightly annoyed at times
with the wiimote controls are zelda and wii sports (wii play
is ok).

What's wrong with the reviews? The ones I've seen all
praised it. The control system in 95% of the warioware
minigames games is spot on. Even on that other 5% once you
work out how to do the game, the control works well.

I'd say it's better than monkeyball by a long way.

In terms of minigames that is; the main singleplayer mode of
monkeyball is on level pegging as far as I'm concerned. If
you've liked other warioware games at all, you'll really
enjoy this.

especially with 4 or more players. loads of different games
too.

the game music sounds very stereolab at certain points.
