have you heard about this story? if you haven't, it's not
for those with a weak stomach (like myself, apparently).
truly dreadful murder case involving 14 year old girls
killing a friend in an insanely brutal manner.

i'm starting to believe those who say television is
dangerous; we are too easily influenced/numbed

i was thinking of the one where a 12 year old girl got beat
for 30 minutes into a coma because she kissed another girls
boyfriend. If i remember correctly the ages of the culprits
were something like 14,14,31,35. Or something retarded like
that.

disturbing

it's only because of the fact that the website is

.....................

that was probably the most horrifying, sad and cruel thing
i've ever read.

how could someone be that heartless and... there is just no
adjective suitable for that. by reading that, we can only
realize a tiny tiny bit of what it was really like.

we are living in hell.
not that i believe in hell nor religion nor any stuff like
that, but i'm tempted to think that there was some
paranormal or whatever stuff involved - just to make things
appear less real, less atrocious, less condemning for
humanity. but i know it is true, the murderers were human
beings.
that case alone, and to know it wasn't even one case but
that many atrocities of that kind already happened -
nothing can ever counterbalance that. can you imagine
something even approaching being 1/20 as "positive" as this
must have been atrocious? we are living in hell.

hey i'm not the one who went rampant and claimed stuff. but
here you go. the site seems legit, as far as courttv or
whatever is legit:

"The Crime Library is a rapidly growing collection of more
than over 500 nonfiction feature stories on major crimes,
criminals, trials, forensics and criminal profiling, as well
as award-winning fiction short stories by prominent writers.
The stories focus mostly on recent crimes, but an expanding
collection also delves into historically notorious
characters, dating back to the 1400s and spanning the
globe.

The Crime Library is a source of entertainment and education
for millions of readers throughout the world, and it serves
as an important resource for students researching current
and historical subjects and for producers of television
documentaries and book authors.

The site was founded by Marilyn J. Bardsley in January 1998.
Court TV, a joint venture of AOL-Time Warner and Liberty
Media Inc., purchased the Crime Library in September 2000"

drummond > who knows yeah ' _ '
...it it's always more comfortable to think it's fake.

Netlon Sentinel > yes i remember this avatar ^^ it didn't
have the little frame before though!

i was about to make the remark but after reading the text it
really seemed inappropriate to talk about yr avatar
instead...

anyway it's a very cool one - remembers me of that
surrealist movie in which you see a girl's eye being cut off
by a razor blade, with flashes of the moon.... it's called
Un Chien Andalou in french, i don't know the english title
(An Andalusian Dog?).... - and also the cover art of Mr
Bungle - Disco Volante (haven't heard that album though).

making movies out of things like that is really wrong...

disgusting = /

imagine if you were in the family of the victim. wouldn't it
have been enough to undergo all that, what if in addition to
that, cineasts make money out of it...

that reminds me of a pixies song :) is it a good film, un
chien andalou?

the avatar is really the cover of a debbie harry album,
dunno which one, i'm only interested in the art (by hr
giger)

acrid: trust me, i fall for everything as long as it seems

un chien andalou is worth seeing. interesting experiment in
abstract filmmaking.
'debaser' by the pixes was based on the film - as you well
know - which is why it came to mind.
i trust you that youre gullible.

drummond, why do you think it's fake? because 'things that
horrible don't happen in real life?' well they do, the world
is pretty insane.
if this turns out to be fake (which i don't expect, i think
it's genuine) there will always be stories alike that are
true,

it's not sesame street we're living in

Probably the worst case I've ever heard of. The 12-year old
girl is burning on a field, crawls into a fetal position.
The only thing she has strength to do is stretch her tongue
back and forth. Seriously, I almost cried reading that.

Judge Todd, hard but fair, passes on 60-years to Melinda
Loveless:
“You still have time to turn your life around and do
something good and useful with your life after prison,”
Todd(judge) said as Loveless began weeping uncontrollably.
“Shanda Sharer(victim) does not. I hope you take
advantage of this opportunity.”

Enjoy.
