My fav Chris Clark release. The only one I own, but I have
heard the rest.
This album is amazing, and the first purchase done after
reading a lot about the album here and getting it
recommended on XLT.
That was about a year ago, btw.

every track is amazing and different...
it lacks a bit of cohesion, tho...

lord of the dance
caveman lament
diesel raven...

every track has something that makes it sublime...

Very good release. I bought this after I heard Wolf on the
WarpSampler, and I've been a CC-fan ever after.

Its got some great stuff and I enjoy it, but next to Empty
The Bones Of You, it's not really a proper album. Definetly
worth a tenner though... nothing quite like Lord Of The
Dance.

I would give it 6.5/10. It's not bad but nowhere near the
quality of his more recent material.

In what way do you think "Clarence Park" is similar to
"Empty
The Bones Of You"..
I don't really like ETBOY, but I really love CP.

makes me remember how it was to take the trains and busses
required for the trip between where I used to live in
Sweden, and Denmark.

listened to that Clarence Park so much then...to bad it's
short

I like it cause it's short - I mean, it never gets
boring...
There are no tracks that I don't like.
Some tracks are a bit short, and I thought that was annoying
at first, but then I started to like the album as a whole
(instead of individual tracks), and then I accepted it.
I really like this album!

Yep. It works best if you lsiten to the whole thing from the
beginning to the end.

I really like it too, BUT I don't like "shrewland" ...it
makes me scared for some reason

this album is so great, a little bit short but so much
better than empty the bones, I've seen him live and the only
numbers i realy liked were from clarence park

I really like thoose darker tracks...
Are all tracks about a park? I try to relate them all to
parks anyway, what you may see and experience in them... I
think it works really well that way.

'Bricks' is a coolest track here for me - I don't get Chris
Clark yet. I'm trying real hard, but yet no success :(

but 'Bricks' rocks.

either like or you don't :)

at this period of my life i wanna at least understand what
is there to be liked in Chris Clarks music..
It seems strange to me.

'Proper LoFi' is one of the most hard-hitting, emotional IDM
tracks I know.. it just kills me.
As a whole, the CD is pretty patchy. Even some of the
ambient bits are very nice, it's just got a frustrating
track progression, to me. Great moments but terrible flow.

shit i sure have started a lot of these discuss this feature
things.

since i haven't really commented about the release, i'll say
this:

it's alright. like people said, has some good moments but
really no flow. it's a bunch of crap put together, not
really an album.

i second this post..really nothing else to add except
matvey..try diesal raven, if you cant get that then put down
clark and try another artist, i would say you are not into
him.
raven is by far his most accessible track, quite beautiful
too.

"it's a bunch of crap put together, not
really an album"

do you also think about Drukqs in the same way?

bricks is mental! i love it :D *blasting it now ...don't
think my neighbours are very happy :)*

lord of the dance brings flute-y happy happy joy joy
feelings. fun as hell, if you consider hell to be a fun
place. easily his most accessible song.

other tracks i like on this album are Proper Lofi and Diesel
Raven. i usually skip the piano tracks, i'll have to give
them a proper listen though.

chris clark's production is really exciting

when i play this i usually start with The Chase, skip Lord
of The Dance, and play the rest of the B side. Diesel Raven
such a great track. In general i think this album is just as
good as Empty The Bones.

now i'm feeling clarance park more.

eh, yeah drukqs i'd consider an album, although it is
somewhat like a bunch of crap thrown together.

some of the stuff sounds similar enough for it to just pull
it off.

I never listened to this album cos people here said it was
just ok... nothing special... well for me it is very good...
near to great...

a lot better than empty the bones... and I liked that one
too... so imagine

a great e.p. shame he's never managed to best it, most of
what he's done since has been sonically fantastic but
emotionally cold IMO.

dunno about curbcreeper but I think that statement sums up
druckqs perfectly, not CP though.
