if snares released an album mix in DTS-ES i'd totally buy
it...some of the stuff he does in stereo is awesome...i'd
probably jizz my pants to hear a surround release.

I had a listen to these recent V Snares samples and I can't
say I was that impressed.

Listen to the track "Richard Devine A+ Student". How is it
possible to think that this is good? Also consider how awful
the track title is. God.

[sarcasm mode on]

Oh yeah. That cover art is definitely a visual
representation of Mr. Funk's latest musical exploits. I see
this being his breakout album into mainstream popularity.

[sarcasm mode off]

I SERIOUSLY HOPE that's a sick joke, though I'm not
laughing...

:P

Screw V Snares. Check those Flashbulb samples!!!!!! Damn he
is sounding very good these days. He really has come of
age!!!

The cover art summarises what VSnares is all about, pretty
much: completely unnecessary use of extreme/"shocking"
images designed to appeal to the stupid, angst-ridden "idm
kids" who think it's cool to enjoy it because it's so
HARDCORE.

I take it you don't like V Snares. Fret not check the
Flashbulb samples thats some real vibes.

Those samples aren't completely dreadful they just don't
particularly do it for me. I like V Snares definitely though
just not everything he does is top notch.

Horse and Goat is another great Snares track. It sounds a
bit like something from Winter In The Belly Of A Snake but
with more fun. I can see how Snares might appeal to
angst-ridden teens but isnt that just a stereotype, I don't
see many around here.

the artwork was done by trevor brown long before this
release existed

horse and goat is a good track (it's been floating around
for a while) but i didn't dig any of the other samples.

That doesn't excuse it's tastelessness, regardless of its
date or intent...

I'm glad I order albums off the internet. I would be
embarassed to buy an album with that cover in a shop.

AlfredPMcLovely,

Yeah I agree with you. Seemed a very provocative comment to
make. I luv V Snares and its got nothing to do with angst. I
love something which has serious kick to it when I feel in
the mood.
