I am alive

people who posted at watmm know, but I just wanted to say it
here.

we are all crying in madrid
thankfully non of my known people were injured, but I feel
so sad for all the victims and relatives...

and btw, its most probable that it was eta (alqaeda is only
a small possiblity)... but who cares anyway

I like arab people

alqaeda doesnt represent the whole of the arab race, they
are just a 0.000000000000000000000001% of arab people

so please dont extend the hate.

and besides, its most probable that it was ETA

the papers here in canada scream with the headlines of
Al-Qaeda

i find this interesting... the western civilization
perspective blaming whoever to support current propaganda.

SICKENING

as you said, it doesn't really matter.

I was saddened to hear what your prime-minister Aznar said
after the attack - a very hateful message, heavy retribution
wanted.

on and on and on goes the spiral of violence.

also creepy to hear that American senator saying "We are
spanish". I bet that made you feel better..

People that blow up shit like that are worthless. It's just
not right. And people like Bush give those people
inspiration. It's areal shame that had to happen. At least
it wasn't any worse than it was. A good preventive solution
would be to lynch Bush. Gather the mob. I do hope they
catch who did it.

"Sir.. it'd be best if you'd just walk over there, to that
small man.."
"Dang! I thought it was a kid!"
"No Sir.. notice the tiny moustache?"
"Goddarnit!"
"Please walk over and have a talk with the brilliantined
gentlemen, sir.."
"Rightyo.."

the world is such a frustrating place... when does power
become so important that it causes endless violent action
and reaction? is it enough that the world is so
heartbreakingly beautful?

It always has been this way... maybe in a smaller scale.
Beauty is depends on the point of view of the individual!!!

obviously... i never insinuated that the world has fallen
from some state of previous innocence (though the obelisk
scene from 2001 would be a good place to cite something like
that)... it just frustrates me

The explosives and detonators used weren't of the type known
to be used by ETA. I thought ETA always claimed
responsibilty for their terror acts. What's the point with
their armed cause otherwise?

Whatever, I'm glad you're OK Nacmat.

spain is now under terrible doubts

we dont know who attacked

but the main possibility still is that it was ETA

thats the only thing I am saying.

its stupid to say it was eta 100% sure, as much as its
stupid to say it was alqaeda 100% sure

but still. eta is the main suspicious

Well, the terrible thing is the people that die in terrorist
attacks aren't the targets, as it were. Which makes it even
worse. Terorist attacks are not, mainly, intended to
"punish" innocent individuals but to create fear and a
spectacle, so the eyes of the world are on the terrorist's
agenda. What a bunch of cunts.

well we've set a dangerous precedent, when the only people
whose demands we will listen to are those who have power...
it tells desperately marginalized groups that the only way
to have their demands even considered is through the kind of
civilian body-count negotiation that we decided was
perfectly acceptable form of warfare in wwII

I've heard from a friend today who has had almost constant
contact with friends in Spain - she said that news about the
bombing is slower in Spain than outside. it would seem the
Spanish government is controlling media output in some way.

Dang... I re-read the post. Yeah I am familiar with the
scene. About the whole frustration thing... I think that you
should consider examining the planet earth as a whole.
Everything falls into place and changes are well..kind of
predictable i guess. The universe drives me insane though...
