That myopic (no pun intended) fool Blunkett is already fighting to lessen the burden of proof neccessary to prosecute for Terrorism in expectation of such an attack. So, not only do we have harsher sentences for terrorism, a far too broad definition of terrorism (including politcal graffiti and computer hacking) , but now he want to be able to put people away for terrorism with a burden of proof more akin to that of civil (as opposed to criminal court)?
I'm generally pretty conservative, but the idea of lessening how sure they need to be to bust people for crimes is appaling.

Hey, why have justice when you can have freedom fries? As blair follows bush, blunkett seems to be following john ashcroft: detention without trial, extended stop and search powers, shifting the burden of proof further away from defendants... it scares me that the government can actually get away with passing laws like this.
