This is very simplified, but I hope you understand my questions:
* Do you think that all "jobs" are equally important? + Should people earn the same amount of money? - nomatter what their occupation is?
* Do you believe that people should be able to do whatever they want with their life?
* Do you believe that it's reasonable to think that some things in life are free and some aren't?
(e.g. should information [literature/music/movies/etc] be free, and physical things cost money?)

* Do you think that all "jobs" are equally important? + Should people earn the same amount of money? - nomatter what their occupation is?
no, not at all...i have quite iresponsible work, unlike some surgeon or pilot, but i still get paid better...now where's justice in that?? i guess some people just try and find meaning of life in their profesion (tho pilots are in for the girls i think :) )
* Do you believe that people should be able to do whatever they want with their life?
that would be perfect yes, but it doesn't work that way...
* Do you believe that it's reasonable to think that some things in life are free and some aren't? (e.g. should information [literature/music/movies/etc] be free, and physical things cost money?)
no, i'd rather pay for a good music than for a better car or something...

* Do you think that all "jobs" are equally important? + Should people earn the same amount of money? - nomatter what their occupation is?
No!
* Do you believe that people should be able to do whatever they want with their life?
No! We have to follow the law. For example, people can't just kill each other.
* Do you believe that it's reasonable to think that some
things in life are free and some aren't? (e.g. should information [literature/music/movies/etc] be free, and physical things cost money?)
No! Even "physical" things can give me information.

no.
within reason - if somebody'll pay you for what you want to do, go for it.
no. it's all about how useful something is - to a lot of people a nice piece of music (for example) is very useful.

* Do you think that all "jobs" are equally important?
YES
+ Should people earn the same amount of money? - nomatter what their occupation is?
Money should not exist (so yes i guess?)
* Do you believe that people should be able to do whatever they want with their life?
We already can, most people just don't realise it yet.
* Do you believe that it's reasonable to think that some things in life are free and some aren't?
YES, the basics are free (as far as money is concerned), food, air, water, etc but you still need to work for them, ie time & effort.
(e.g. should information [literature/music/movies/etc] be free, and physical things cost money?)
Only free to those who contribute to making them. If someone else has spent time/effort/money on something then there is no reason why you should enjoy it for free.

* Do you think that all "jobs" are equally important?
no. for instance, the garbage-man and mine-clearers in the army can't ever be compared. It all boils down to happiness.
+ Should people earn the same amount of money? - nomatter what their occupation is?
no, but if you've had a hard days work, and have been working like a dog, you should get paid more.
* Do you believe that people should be able to do whatever they want with their life?
Well... I believe in miracles.
* Do you believe that it's reasonable to think that some things in life are free and some aren't?
ehm.. reasonable? no. possibly? maybe. probably love.
(e.g. should information [literature/music/movies/etc] be free, and physical things cost money?)
Depends. if you are a material girl in a material world, you probably wouldn't care anyway.

The original idea for this poll was the last question (I only count the bold ones as questions) - to see how XLTmembers valued information.
If you do not pay for information (e.g. if you do download information through p2p that is not released as "free" by the author/(c)-owner) you should have answered no to that question. Otherwise - well it just makes no sense believing something and doing the opposite.
I thought some of your answers was interesting to read, e.g. phob's idea of that physical things are a type of information (which I agree with).
I answered these questions myself, but decided not to post them until I got more posts from you (this was last night)...
anyway. thanks for polling! I might post my answers later.
