I wouldn't mind some feedback on this track, although I've listened to it enough to know where the weaknesses are already (at least how I see them, but maybe you'll think of something new to tell me.) This track was done with all audio, no midi, as I'm experimenting with which I like better. Anyway, hope ya like it! :)

ease up on the stereo panning.
1,000x better than my first track.

wow, thanks man! Yeah, the panning gets quite annoying in headphones, but I'm not against it on regular speakers ;)

Very good for a first track. The stilted, typewriter style percussion is good. Like Pomme says, you could ease up on the panning a bit. The bassline is pretty good, almost MHTRTC era BoC.

thanks for the feedback mate :) Another friend of mine said it reminded him of BoC, but I didn't see it. ;) Not that I don't appreciate the comment all the same though, hehe..

Amazing for a firsttrack, i love the rhythm (especially the way Ceri described it) It reminds me of Sonic the Hedgehog music (thats a good thing by the way). Synth lines are gorgeous
Keep at it mate, you've got some nice ideas :)

haha, yeah the way ceri puts it makes it sound cooler than it really is... =D
Actually though, the drum track sounds coolest by itself, in the mix you can't hear some of the lo-fi-ness of it as well..

i like it. i didn't even have a problem with the panning. the thing to work on would be making the sample cuts not so obvious. make it blend together more.
other than that, excellent. murray was right, it reminds me alot of sonic music, but the sonic games have always had excellent music.
keep at it, chum.

Yeah I know what you mean about the blending thing.. that's definately something I'll be working on.
with the panning, my objective was to make it a pan that kind of went back and forth with the beat, but listening in headphones I did kind of get a dizzying effect from it... I like it in regular speakers though :)
Thanks for listening everyone.

it has some nice synths and good melodies. i think it's a little weak in the beats department. the stereo leslie effect gets a bit worn out but i think its a good start to what could be a great track. good first effort.

I like the panning myself. But every time it panned left it tickled my ear in a nails on chalkboard kind of way. Perhaps it was just vibrating some earwax. Hopefully so because that means I'll have something to eat later today. The right ear was fine though. It was a pretty fast good melody, kinda repetitive but not really in an annoying way.

I guess it's easy for me to say since the only art I produce nowadays goes down the toilet (literally).

A very enjoyable track, the first 10 seconds sounded very familiar but I can't quite remember where from (maybe one of the AE remixes?) but anyway, great song title and I love those xylophone sounds in the middle.
Great work, can't wait to hear more from you.

I actually really liked the panning. The tapping type snare worked really well. I'm impressed man. I don't think I've reached this standard yet and I've been doing it for ages. DAMN!

Not bad for a first song. I'd saying it was lacking something though.
