putting aside the arguments about the whole 'kelly-affair' that report is just a grossly biased, sketchy overview of a complex situation.
i just hate the supposition that if anyone doesnt support america wholeheartedly in everything it does, they are not only 'un-american'.. but 'pro-iraq' + thus some kind of traitor!? what happenned to democracy? i thought america was supposed to be the land of the free?
i thought this was the exact kind of misinformation, hysteria + oppression of freedom of speech that america (allegedly) sought to free iraq from..?

haha that is so fucked. Fox is shit though, you cant take anything on Fox News seriously, it is a Murdoch station and is always BBC bashing while promoting Sky News, their sister station as the best news agency in the UK.
Lets face it, it is only because our press can be held accountable, and the BBC is held in such regard, that anything at all was done. Gregg Dyke still felt even at resignation they had nothing to apologise for, and he looked sincere to me.
If Fox News was soft velvety paper I still wouldnt wipe my arse with it.

i mean, i've heard that the bbc has been covering the "war effort" or what have you better than anyone else...but i've never really payed much attention to it because the whole idea of war just depresses me. i guess it's not a very good thing that i wake up to it every morning either.

The BBC have a habit of trying to report every aspect of everything they cover, which leaves themselves open to attack via a soundbite. Lets not forget that the Gilligan soundbite that caused all this was a 6am news report on a minor BBC radio station.

i'm on a slow connection, so I can't check it out, but I think I know what it is about. It is the typical "patriotic army-loving war-supporting american who thinks europe is riddled with communist terrorists who can't wait to invade USA and drop a nuclear bomb on them"

This is nothing but Propaganda... Fox News is unbelievable!!! Listen to the way he talks, like he's talking to a child! "The beeb is caught lying" - Fuck'n'hell! It's so provocative.
I'd like to see this guy debating with John Pilger. That would be fun!
