Yeah I'm aware of that. I have "Perdition city" and "the marriage of heaven and hell"... they are ok I guess but I can't imagine my self listening to that kind of stuff lately. morstro-x---> I checked half of the album "red shift swing" that was on the website. From what I heard I would say that it's more of an ambient album. Still interesting. |

Aye Ulver is really god. he is a death metalist turned ambientalist. His stuff is really Film Noirish. And I am not being pretentious when I say that |

It's not only one guy (and they were more of a black metal band before) but I agree about the film noir feeling (about perdition city at least). Maybe its the saxophone and the vocals. They have made quite a few eps and a soundtrack after that album. Anyone know anything about them? |

Anyway Ulver are far more "organic" than most of the one guy-one laptop electronica wave. They are actually still a "band". |
