The work of a man at peace with his art.

It's grrrrrrrreat, Tony Tiger style. Some of his most
pleasureable work. The first time I listened to it, I gave
it a good whole album listening. By the time Tetra-sync
started building, I thought to myself, "My god, Squarepusher
has really fucking created some absolutely awesome music."

That's how I've decided to describe this album. Not
"awesome" in a northern californian dude-speak way, but
awesome in the sense of overwhelming wonder and admiration.
This album is full of awe. It's awe-full. ;)

It's the first release of Squarepusher that I like as a
whole.

There are a few songs that stand out for me and force me to
make strange moves ;), like Ultravisitor and Tetra-Sync, the
melodies and structures in Tetra-Sync are amazing!!.

The funny thing in this matter is that when I hear it on
headphones it sounds very different than through my
speakers, does anyone know why?

must be the stereo phasing.

if you know what i mean :)

ofcourse, but it's like it is more structured when I listen
to it with my headphone, the album sounds more chaotic
through speakers :s

Ultravistor kicks ass, though I don't like Steinbolt all
that much. Don't get me wrong, it's okay, but there are
others I like more.

yes it is...... awsome!!!

i hate for the only other thing i say about it in this post
to be negative, but i have to say... so far (only a few
listens), i miss the head-exploding moments of Go Plastic!

it is extremely awsome though.....

It's got some pretty cool classical guitar type stuff on it
too, that came as a total surprise.

the bass guitar parts make this album otherwise it would
just another addition to the cd rack that occasionaly gets
played skipped through and put back for another year

I only have the three track EP, and am not totally blown
away, although I am ecstatic to have new squarepusher no
matter what. Should I be really excited about the rest of
the full-length?

I don't like Squarepusher much and this album didn't change
my mind. I like him most when he sounds like Richard and
there's not much of that on Ultravisitor. Anyone who
listens to this album more than once has my deepest
sympathy.

yes it is great..really great album, but i thought

some of the tracks on the recent release. a litle
dissapointent....but hey! it is still fuckin great!
