In a nutshell, you guys got him fired from his government
job. So he hasn't had access to the internet.

From his email to me:

i did get B7 from work, jan 9th, i resigned in stead
of getting canned, i was on the net a bit much and
there were some "innapropriate" images on my computer,
some of them from watmm, some of them from tragedy's
folder, the fake killings, and there was the bouncing
jugs the braindance had that said ban me.

i was really upset for a few days, i can go back to
work there in 2 years if....

so im applying for other well paying jobs, i was stuck
in a rut, :everything happens for a reason:

tell everyone in tht threasd i lvoe them and ill be
back soon

love

It doesn't seem to be whether the images are warned as not
being worksade, the problem is that he saved the images to
his computer...

I think they were probably cached images though in the temp
internet files.

I am sorry to hear that. Thad was a good guy. I guess that
is the risk you run when you are visiting sites at work on
company time though.

Poor Thad... damn the net. I was reprimanded for surfing
some video game sites at work the other day. I hate knowing
that they know where I'm going, I feel so violated. And yet,
I deserved it for being lax in my duties.

It's a pretty sucky story.

Especially because for the last 5 years I've surfed the web
probably more often at work than I do at home. And I've
never been, and never will be reprimanded for it.

Poor Thadius.

Well, now he can do what he's always wanted to do with his
life; paint miniature fantasy character figurines, and build
that elaborate set of armor using his uncles metal press..

you are going to rock at this years Ren Faire, Thad!

His name was Thad Smoyer
