In the last hour a blizard has appeared along with a thunder storm and covered the place in about 3 inches of snow! I don't think i have ever seen a thunderstorm and a snow storm at the same time before but its pretty cool. |

snowed here last night. not much though. snowed a little this morning. then it rained & the snow melted. the sun came out + there were blue skies. it was really nice out.. then the skies clouded over + it poured with rain. the rain turned to hail.. the clouds turned white from grey + it began to snow. snowed for ages. stopped a while ago + i think its probably melting now. another good old rollercoaster weather ride here in the midlands.. |

In preparation for having to possibly deal with snowy conditions, I took the long way home today and Rallyed my car around the ungritted country lanes. It was nice to practice controlled skids on the wide open stretches, se ehow emergency stop distances were altered and get used to the loss of traction, particularly on hill starts. |
