I had a virus the other day, they even suspended my internet account so I wouldn't spread my sick disease. Forget what it was called, but used Stinger.exe to get rid of it. Maybe it's a different thing. |

if you dont open the attachment, youre ok? or you get infected by simply reading the email? i got a lot of weird 'delivery failure' messages for emails i didnt even send, but it really says the 'from' adress is mine... fucked up. |

It forges the from address to make it appear that it came from someone in the infected machine’s address book. You're fine as long as you don't run the attachment. Just delete the email and call your mom and tell her not to open any attachments (you know how moms are about email worms..) |
