Does someone know more about this artist? This is some
really good stuff.

P.s. If you didn't notice, some of the words are clickable.

im listening to "unomia" album just now...i think it's
pretty excellent. i don't think it's much like boc tho...boc
don't have such diversity on their albums, i mean all of
their tunes have that specific sound + im sure the real
instruments were used for this album.

beautiful melancholic music!

That's what I thought when I listened to his first album
that I got and some single tracks too. I've got 2 plus
unomia, which I don't think is that boc-like btw.

you found any new info on him, since you made this thread?

is he from iceland by any chance?

Hmm...when I wrote this thread I had just listened to his
album called A chest, a number of things. Or something like
that. Since then I've listened to the album in the sounds
section of his page and unomia. I also found about 50, I
think, induvidial songs.

I think he's american.

huh, that's quite a lot of songs to check...what is unomia
compared to other tracks like?

Most of them are beatless and ambient like. I have to say
that I like much of his stuff more than unomia. Not that
unomia is bad it's just not exactly what got me into Helios
in the first place.

listening to "life cycle" now. Really excellent song. I'm
slightly reminded of biosphere by this.

I met Helios on slsk a few years ago, lately he's been
pumping out some amazing tracks and before releasing unomia
he had some great stuff on his site. I probably have over 30
tracks from him now... awesome stuff

yeah it might not be as boc, that's correct, but it gets
peoples attention :). unomia isn't like boc but some of the
first songs i heard from him reminded me of boc. "Two up at
seven" is pretty boc-like for example.

i'm think i'm going to have to get this album, the track i
heard was a mixture of BoC, Brian Eno and Biosphere... are
the other tracks similar or is there much variation?

helios did a remix of tiki obmar's "lilypads a" on their
last cd, "seasons," and it's pretty stunning...

i know i've heard some of his stuff in mixes here and there,
this remix shows an amazing degree of skill...
