Although i am not a racist person by any means i think that the use of this word in this day and age should be over looked. If persons of African decent can use this term to each other on a day to day basis why cannot i call a white guy a nigger. Black people are not niggers. People of lower quality are niggers. They can be white or asian or latino. Niggers are the kind of fucks who shoot you for your car, jump you for money or accessories or mainly start fights for no appearant reason. |

i don’t really see a use for it myself, but it's just used a lot nowadays for rap songs and such so they can always rhyme the word "trigger" with it.. or it's just used as filler-word in the songs.. like when someone would normally say "uhmm" or pause shortly.. |

i just bumped this old thread about this... if people were okay about it, i'd love to be able to use the term "nigga" but it wouldn't be meant as a degrading term, because in most situations it's not, it's a brotherhoodie-type of term... which i dig... but poor old pasty-white me... can't even sing along to my favourite rap songs... |

to be fair that can be wrong. In one instance i could tell one of my black friends "hey nigger pick my cotton" it doesnt actually mean we have to go to a plantation and start harvesting. Sure if you dont know the person it would be quite unwise. That's for sure. But what deems this word as offensive or any word for that matter. yes, i agree, but i'm just giving some suggestions. i think if we all followed what i said we'd all get along much better. someone could call you a lazy uneducated person, or any other connotation that goes along with the word, or a cracker or any other name that people call people.. it just wouldn't be nice.. and isn't that what we're here for, to at least try to get along? why does anyone really need this word? the only positive thing i can think of that comes out of it, is that it forces us to not forget the past.. |

I say this word sometimes, but only is a truly joking fashion, like if a good friend is doing something silly and hits me or something, maybe.. MAYBE ill be like "ya fuckin nigga!" Hear this though.... : I use the word because to me a nigger is a black person who steals, smokes crack and hits his wife, as well a honkey is the same thing who is white, and so on for all minorities.... and ofcourse like I said whites too. So really I think these certain terms and others arent racist, only just accurate to each individual race. each one has their own "bad people". |
