I'm having sort of a problem with my computer at home(i'm
at work now).
first let me start by telling you what ive got. 2.6ghz
pentium 4 with a DSL connection running XP.

On ebay, when i go into an item, most of the time, i cant
refresh. the little bar at the bottom of the page starts to
fill then stops, then nothing happens. this as you can
imagine is fucked if youre trying to watch an auction.
i CAN refresh the main page, and the item list page. i have
macafee set to accept cookies from ebay.com, but i dont even
know if that makes a difference.
i am pretty sure i actually did refresh a couple of items in
the past, but most of the time, NADA!

can someone help?!

what browser are you running?
There's this preference in the browser you can set that
controls when the browser should refresh a page (e.g. "at
every visit", "never", etc)...

check your settings!
I know I had the same problem years ago, trying to get new
mail on my webbased email hehe... it might not solve
anything, but check it!

i'm thinking the page is refreshing, it just hasn't
changed. i mean, if you're able to refresh other pages.

are you sure the page is changing?

you can use different settings for different sites... but I
think all of that is manually set, but it should be tried.

you guys are the bomb. i noticed that always here, whenever
someone has a problem with whatever, someone almost ALWAYS
replies within minutes. even if they dont know exactly how
to help. its just nice.
