It was very good, big mad building with 3 floors and about 18 flights of stairs (or so it seemed) I think its usually a goth club / paintballing venue... very mixed bag of people there, some very fit "idm" birds (they do exist) I was in the planet mu room most of the time, saw mike p dj set, (lots of chopped up uk garage type stuff) and the µ-ziq set was very good, lots of d&b very chopped up with nice strings n stuff over the top, also some very crisp headnodding beats, did it for me. Also saw the bug who were wicked as usual, probably my fave live act of this year, so much energy and mad noise and bass going on. AFX was meant to be on at 3 but wasn't when I was there, so dunno if I missed him or if he didnt even play, no-one I went with saw him... Saw mike p's second DJ set as well, more straight up d&b and stuff, very good. Remarc DJ set was pretty hardcore, amen-tastic jungle tunes old and new... also caught a bit of astrobotnia and bogdan, very nice... DJ shitmat was pretty stupid but was doing good things with his kaos pad and played gabba and stuff... got heckled a lot coz he was pissing about and dressed like santa. all in all a very fun night, felt like a wharehouse party and was pretty sketchy, ie in the rephlex room they just had one massive green lazer, and nothing else! but quality entertainment all round. |

only place i ever seen any good artist's is at the Roskilde festival, that's not bad at all becouse i have seen Plaid,Squarepusher,Björk,ALec EMpire, Chemical Brothers, Jagga JAzzist and some otehr really ncie unknown artist.. But hell, will Rdj ever come to roskilde again, i think he was there 97 but i wasnt there at that time.. =( theres so many artist's wich i think should rock roskilde. i should move to the UK.. Bläh! |
