Aud.stim left me, so now if I become addicted to these
forums and you all leave me, there's going to be an
electronic price to freakin' pay. And I'll probably throw my
damn computer at the wall.

I have made a vow to never leave these boards.

I will be here after everyone has left.

no, i'm not trying to start shit, this is how i've always
felt. why not just call it an artist collective? what
exactly do you think makes it a "label" if it doesn't exist
on paper, has no distribution, doesn't and can't give
artists advances, etc.? this isn't to put down earvalve cos
i love their music and wish them the best success. a lot of
people on this board and elsewhere have these so-called
labels and it's just kinda funny to me.

Have you lot ever thought about (and I mean really thought
about) just how long Phob and I would run our respective
sites? I've been doing joyrex/watmm since '99, Phob has been
doing one form of aphextwin/xltronic since '98... that's a
pretty long time. Far as I know, Phob isn't married or has
kids yet, so things could drastically change for him if that
ever does happen, and I already have the wife and kids thing
taken care of, so if anything, my free time to run watmm
would increase. I'd be odd to see these sites around for 10+
years...

joyrex: but someone could always take over, if you guys felt
like leaving... provided the person was able.

i dont think they are trying to be the next big thing... i
just think its about making good music and having a way to
share it with other people from the board and whatnot.

i just guess it comes down to enjoyment for me.

i enjoy promoting & supporting that site. i enjoy those
guys. i enjoy making music and hearing my friends music.
they do good stuff, and that's really all i care about.

sure, nobody on their is at the level of skam or rephlex or
planet mu... not yet.

trying to make something thats good IS being successful.

on a related note, do you have a URL that isn't numerical? i
couldn't give out your site address on air last week because
no one out there is going to write down a string of digits.
i said Oddioblender's though because it's so easy. (FYI, i
did say on air to check my playlists site for a link and it
is there.)
