Holy shit.

I saw this for the first time yesterday; its INSANE!

It truely made me uncomfortable, and was very disturbing.

Great style, great mood.

The army guys were as scary as the infected imo
that whole situation was fucked up.

Anyways, awesome film.

Yup.

yeah no zombies, zombies are re-animated coirpses, ie the
living dead, the infected were just that, people infected.

just saw this a day or 2 ago...

GREAT characters, great writing...

an excellent spin on the genre, and in general just a nice
piece of work.

i watched the opening scenes...then walked out. it sucked.
Each line of dialogue conviently foreshadowing more crap to
come...believe me. it sucked.

I thought it kicked ass fo sho.

I've said it before but here goes: Eno in the soundtrack!
good soundtrack, good style, fucked up movie (in a good
way).

Haven't seen this film, except a few clips, but the scenes
with London in the morning look great. I don't really like
London, too stressful noisy and busy, but would like to go
when its quiet like the shots where no one is around, except
zombies! ah well. also the biohazard logo thing rocks, for
some stupid reason I absolutely love the biohazard label, so
on that alone I will probly hire the vhs from blockbuster. I
hope its not to scary. hehe.

just for the record, when attacked by zombies, do humans
die, or turn into zombies?

offline RSnart from Las Vegas (United States) on 2003-12-08 02:50 [#00981576]

I saw it in a movie theater and there was just me, my girl
friend and like tree other people there. It was great
sounding and a good gore flick. Needed more blood and gore
though.

Don't the humans have to die before they turn too zombies?

And why aren't there any movies with any kyuss in them
instaed of zombies?
You get extra credit for knowing what kyuss are.

Dude, like, movies with Kyuss in them would like, totally
rock dude.

This film just got worse and worse as it went on... as I've
said in one of the hundred other threads about it

I thought it was nice to watch. Not letting you see too much
is always a good thing IMO.

I liked the speed of the infection, the way they compared
the main characters rage with that of the infected, the
thought of what that first guy saw when he was a kid and
also the mention of all those chocolate and fissy drink
companys!

:)
Enjoyable... I've see worse tripe like Daredevil and SWAT.

when i saw this movie in the theatre, they had a minor
fuck-up...

in the opening scene while he's looking for someone in the
city... you actually see some guy walking up the street
about 3 blocks down the road.

the DVD edited it out though :/

they could've covered it by saying it was just a travelling
survivor. There must've been others.

Pretty big fuck up for a scene portraying emptiness tho
eh?!

:D

And I thought there would be some people on this board that
used to play D&D back in the day...kyuss are a form of
zombie that throw chunks of their rotting flesh at people to
infect them and turn them into kyuss aswell, kinda like the
zombies in Quake.

its not a zombie movie or horror film at all. if you cant
see past the surface, then yes, maybe, but its more than
that. this is no texas chainsaw massacre, theres slightly
more to this.

I thought it was pretty good when I saw it in
theaters...definitely wish the RE series took more of an
approach like this.

It was also nice to hear a Blue States song during the
credits.
