I take it your refering to the comedy series and don't mean
the track by Dreadzone?

It was hit and miss but some quality bits. I liked the
sketch with the Victorian lady/tranny in the pub.

does anyone else think it's a complete rip-off of The League
of Gentlemen?

With the woman talking about Cravings acting exactly like
Pauline from the job centre. And the "only gay in the
village" the same idea as the local shop who only caters for
local people.

Very hit and miss. And I was watching it in a pub, so I
couldn't hear half of it.

yes, I am talking about the series on BBC 2.

it does remind me a bit of League of Gentlemen, but seems
much more a sketchshow.

I really don't see the similarity between the "only gay in
the village" and Tubbs, etc.

I liked the lady too - "I am a LADY!".

but especially the hypnotist. :) and Tom Baker's weird
voice-overs.

Tom Baker's voiceovers are the best part of the programme.
Because they're so utterly random. "Some things you may not
know about Britain: Britain is a country. Britain is called
Britain". "Britain invented the cat".
Yes, the Fat Fighters club is a rip-off of Pauline in The
League of Gentlemen. Otherwise, I think this is the best
thing in British comedy to grace our screens in a long time.
Absolutely love it.
"Do-do-dum-de-dum... MacBeth is a naughty maaan.. dum dum".

but now the DVD is coming out, woo hoo. Yes it is a little

bad thing.
