Due to modem problems as of late, I am unable to download
anything over 2 MB in under an hour - i don't know why this
is happening, but it is conflicting with my reception of
particular entries.

However, I am DETERMINED to get this compilation finished
regardless of hardware problems. So, this is what I ask of
you.

You will have to send your entries by POST. This is very
annoying, I know, but it is the only way I will be able to
receive all the entries.

However, it would be to my advantage if someone here in the
States or Canada could d/l all the remaining entries, then
send them to me on data disc, since i know postal services
tend to meet conflicts from country to country. Things tend
to move smoother when they are being sent to a locale on the
same continent.

Many of you may wonder how this conflicts with the deadline,
and what shall become of this. If you state your entry
before the final deadline (Dec. 4th or 7th depending on your
situation) I will not close the entry pool until ALL entries
have been received.

This also means I may not be able to upload anything - which
means i will have to post mail a data disc to Phobiazero or
another webmaster upon its completion. Due to this setback,
the compilation may not be complete until January.

I am severely sorry for the inconvenience, and I thank you
all for your cooperation and support.

and yes, i know this is ridiculous, but it's far better than
just giving up. =D

this is kind of like god's way of proving a point to me for
saying a while back on this messageboard that i'd rather get
a fatal illness than have my computer become fucked.

I would be happy to do this, if you want. I don't mind,
and I have a cable modem. So it would take a matter of
minutes for me. Also, I'm in the US, so it wouldn't be a
problem to mail. Let me know if you want me to do this.

mr oddioblender sir i will charitably give up a large chunk
of my webspace until the comp is complete. i could set up
an ftp account that people could use.

let me know if you're interested and i'll clear it with the
bandwidth police.

if it's possible, it'll be great... cause we'd like to
submit more entries, so it would be a lot easier for _user
and me just to send the link to the tracks uploaded instead
of using ftp (or sending tracks from Russia by post %D)
