Rockstar Games also licensed a track from (Australian label)
Bloody Fist (a track from FIST21), which they used in their
commercial/trailer...

but I guess they died or something.

Bollocks Codemasters are an independent company and have
always been. Don't know where anyone got the idea that
Codemasters changed to Rockstar.

Phobiazero: this is crazy, so this was realeased after the
game came out ofcourse, I wonder why they decided to have
anything to do with the game? This is kinda weird.

For those people not in the know/too lazy to search, manhunt
is a rather nasty snuff movie themed game. Rather gritty...

Just a shame I can't find news of a PC version it will
never apepar on the GC if Nintendo's track record
with "mature" games is upheld...

yeah reflex is right, why have rephlex suddenly come out
with remixes for this game??? dosent make much sense. unless
all of rephlex absolutely love the game, or more likely
rockstar offered a BIG pay cheque :-)

played THOROUGHLY in gta3 and vice city.

Whoa, Rockstart was Codemasters? Dizzy, The Ultimate
Stuntman, etc? I never knew that!

Speaking of, Max Payne 2 is out for Xbox, can't wait. I'm
shaking. Manhunt... I think I'll rent that first. I like the
''try and die'' stuff, and I have a soft spot for gore ever
since watching Sub Zero's Fatality all those years ago.

AFX could be 1, 5, 6 or 8.
But Grandfather Rabbit Ears sounds like it could be him.

He probably didn't do any of them though.
Looks great though!!! Can't wait to get that, BBC
Radiophonic Workshop AND Kerrier District. Rephlex have been
putting out A LOT of GREAT records recently.

thought that... thought they were connected

This thing looks weird... I don't play a lot of games, but 2
player driver 2 went down well recently

remember when there used to be news on the front page
instead of buried on the message board?

anyway, this sounds great. i hope i can track down a copy.

i also agree that AFX probably didn't do any of these but
hey, maybe...

Codemasters still exist through the 'Music' franchise and
the latest 'Pop Idol' game.

Def not Rockstar.

I still prefered GTA to GTA3 when it was done by DMA....

this is absolutely the most shockingly violent game ever.
it's almost too dark/disturbing.. even for my jaded take on
violence. it's pretty good though. the music isn't that good
though.. it's all sortof generic dark ambient stuff.. it's
alright though because it does react to what goes on as
things happen.. but having all those remixes as the in-game
soundtrack would've been fucking awesome.. they really
missed out on something great there. I dont get why they
even bothered doing this, really.

All you guys interested in playing the game NEED to preview
it somehow before purchasing it. i rented it last week, and
although the story and premise are very cool, the control
and overall feel of the game blows donkey nutts.
Its such shame because everything else is wicked bad-ass.
