I just saw a '0' count on this topic's post count.

WTF !?!

The first part of this series was the installment that
sounded the most AFX - esque, right?

Sounded like ovuca to me.

Anywho. Holy chocolate donuts!! This album was so good. Best
in the series! Tracks like applause and lightworks... were
simpily fantastic and were quite a pleasure to listen to!
:D

I enjoyed the second one the most because of the beatwork.
Part 1 was close behind, if I'm in a more subdued mood.
Number 3 is the ugly duckling.

I hope nobody saw my first post in this topic that I
deleted... I was talking about how good number 2 was,
thinking this topic was about that one. Stoopit!

track one in the second one has an amazing beat pattern!

Go senators!!!

Best on the album, love that acid. That's the funkiest shit
possible on an electronic disc. Love the deep acid throbs on
the first track... damn, they've all got something great.

The third one is actually my favorite. C*nt is one amazing
song and there are a few others that I really like and a
couple others that stand out but not as well. Part one is
good as well. The first 3 tracks are ace but the rest of it
doesn't really stand out. The second I've got on mp3. (No
record player for me) It's short but the first two songs are
really good. The rest doesn't really seem to fit. Maybe I've
got some fakes. I should just put all my favorites of the
three onto one cd. Ok, I've been selfish enough for one
night. Enough of my voicing my opinion. Goodnight. Plaid
tomorrow!! :)

first track all the way...

it tends to bring some sort of recollection of a more
innocent time in my life, when things seemed simpler.

What an album, kept me listening to it for a long long time.
Truly atmospherical stuff i feel, really good.

My favourites are: Lightworks, Acidophilus and Applause in
that order. My favourite in the series and the only one I
still listen to in its entirety on a regular basis.

Part 1: Lightworks, Hallo, Acidophilus are all excellent.

Part 2: I've got it on mp3 but I've only listened to it once
so I can't really judge...

Part 3: My favourite, this is one of my favourite records.
Muminaa is such a great opener.
Drops from 3:12 to about 4:20 is one of my favourite music
moments of all time.
Thoarse is excellent.
Leftovers is damn wicked too, mad drill'n'bass.
C*nt is quite good too.

I like almost every track of this album which is very rare
for me.

Upon revisiting this series I have concluded that it is the
best thing Rephlex has ever released.

IMO!

great IDM release.

Best part IMO. Lightworks and Muminaa (mumbling) are two of
my fave tracks, incl the Ovuca records.

Part 1 as an entire whole is just brilliant. Amazing feat to
pull something like that off.

Part 1 is my favourite. so many good tracks like
untitled, lightworks, everyone, the wing thing, miss june. not
much of fillers here.

part 2 only the 2nd track really stands out. probably my
favourite astrobotnia track.

part 3 no highlights here, not like in part 1 and 2. i
rarely listen to it.

for me 3 or 2 is the more afx sounding

3's my fav, so dreamy and crazy yet immensely "real", lots
of presence and details

think i'm gonna dig up vol.2 and give it a spin!

The scraping or rubbing sound in the background of track 2
Hallo that starts at about 2 minutes, if I listen to it with
headphones, it sounds really convincingly like it's coming
from outside my headphones, like in the room somewhere.
Really strange. Even on speakers it doesn't sound like it's
coming from the speakers. Goes until about 2:30 until the
main rhythm comes back.

no one else (under my knowledge) has created a "spaced out
sound" quite like these melodies

there is nothing else like this release ; im very very happy
with my records of all 3 parts!

my fav. parts are when he is blowing into the mic
heh
