By the way my ticket is a mess. The pen kinda ran out when
Aphex was signing and Luke signature is quite tiny, i gave
Squarepusher another pen but he scribbled over my tickets
kinda (i reckon trying to get it to work) and then put the
pen through the ticket. Luckily it doesnt show much.

Didn't get any pictures of Ceri sadly, i only met with him
at like 4AM.

And giginger, the atmosphere was brilliant, really really
good. I loved every part of that gig.

Yeah i also thought the atmosphere was good the only part i
didn't like was travelling up there, like i really don't
like fast trains!

I was too tired to give a shit this morning though!

: )

I really enjoyed it ! The p.a took a good shafting , some
of the bass was so fucking phat
i wet myself .
Nice to hear aphex playing snares .
I couldnt beleve how many people turned up , i think lack of
wild dancing was due to lack of space .

Bring on dedbeat 2004 yarrrrr......

Nice to of met you all and apologies for disappearing and
sleeping for about 2 hours.

I think I enjoyed Plaid the most out of the acts I was awake
for. Good soundsystem there and the visuals, whilst not
excellent, were for the most part pretty good.

As is usually the case at IDM gigs, the crowd were all
excellent and dead friendly. The only bit of trouble we saw
was two bouncers throwing someone out for falling asleep.
I'm pretty lucky that when I went for a kip upstairs I was
out of the way and not disturbed (well, until Aphex played
some noise that woke me up).

For the record Elephant and Castle is a bloody horrible bit
of London, can't understand why Richard chooses to live
there.

I used to sleep in clubs a lot. There was one club in
Cardiff I used to go to that was really cheap to get in
before 10.00 and then they hiked the price. I used to go in
about 9.00 and then sleep till about 10.30.

Last night however, most of the blame can be layed on a
certain Russian spirit :)

i can't imagine sleeping with throbbing music playing, i
guess i'm too light a sleeper =0) but the whole $$ thing
makes sense.

russian spirit? WODKA perhaps?? i thought those affects were
known as PASSING OOT! heheeheh

you need to write a book about your club adventures! =o)

wow, last night was awesome!

we were a metre away from aphex-raaaa. his set was shit
hot! still can't believe his equipment was balanced on 4
loo-rolls! hehe. what a dude....
plaid also played better than last time i saw 'em - more
crowd friendly than at aldwych, i felt. the robotic arm
thing(?) was rather cool too!
was v. unimpressed by jamie liddel. the mic stuff really
pissed me off after the first 2 tracks. everyone else
seemed to like him tho'?!
It was good to see Vibert play live too, as i've only ever
seen him dj before.
the line-up was pretty damn good really, wasn't it? :-)

all in all, an ace rave. shame about the bar prices, but
then again it is london.

it was good to meet up with you all - we must do it again
(maybe when we can hear eachother!).

when I was going to get married and why don't I want to get
married =os

When I finally promised her I'd get married in the next 2
years she gave me a lolly pop........ I gave it to ceri.

I hope that dosent mean anything

Sold them at face value so it was ok.

Luke really dissapointed me, didn't do much, just "played"
songs like a kids disco dj. He played billy jean

as for plaid...... 2 words.... Grange Hill =oD !!!!

fantabulous !

Yes twas a good night

The best part of it i would say was chatting to Aphex Twin
and him pinching me and acting quite oddly towards me as if
he was a zombie. Talking to Luke was nice as well, he's a
lovely chap. Tom seemed kinda annoyed, ahh well. It was
great meeting all of them :)
