maybe my eyes went retarded, but i dont see "shadow" there.

clearly this is a human error.

i refer you to 'endtroducing...' & 'pre-emptive strike' for
examples.

Well, there's about 3 DJs I like there and 3 more I have
respect for even though I'm not a big fan of them, however:

DJ Shadow,
RJD2,
Andy Smith,
Freq Nasty,
Richard Fearless,
Q-Bert,
Photek,
Roni Size

Were all ones I would expect to see, even in as mainstream a
chart as that.

At least Anne Savage isn't there. I suppose I ought to be
greatful for small mercies.

no shit... RDJ rocks it. I saw him play and he played a mad
set, push it by salt n pepper was one! by the end it was all
mental drukqs-y d&B tho - awesome.

And my mate said he played the grandstand horse racing music
at some gig

It's sad that the ones like lisa lashes, anne savage and
lisa pin up make the top 100, when female DJs who are
actually good such as Andrea Parker, DJ Rap, DJ Touch etc.
don't get a mention.

Touch and Rap play comparatively mainstream stuff so there's
no reason they aren't on that list apart from the fact they
are not marketed so much on their looks.

I would have also included her label mate Kali, but she lost
all credibility when she DJed for S Club 7 on CD:UK...

I'm playing on saturday at the pleasure unit in bethnal
green - downtempo whatever kind of set, also suresound every
1st friday of the month in chatham's luxurious "pulse"
niteclub in kent... the fame and adulation is a bit much
sometimes, butI cope.

He he, I have actually heard of the pleasure unit, although
that may of been you mentioning it in the past. I'm on a
years break from playing out (aside from the odd house
party) as I don't want to mess my final year of my degree up
by being a wreck every other weekend. Not very rock and
roll, I know...

I must admit part of it is moving back from Bristol and
hence not knowing anyone on the scene, but the main thing is
the very real threat of screwing up 4 years worth of work
for something I can carry on in earnest in 9 months time.
Any plans for you to do another webcast dnb set?
