god I feeli like a real idiot for asking this, but...

is it pronounced "Ay-fex" or "Ay-pex"

obviously the proper way should be Ay-fex, much like
tele-"fone" but for some reason I always thought it was
Ay-pex.

shed some light bitches...

I had always just considered it "plad" because of the
fabric.. but I like "played" better because it's a cool play
on words.

I used to say OH-tek, for Autechre. Sounds far more badass.
But now I say aw-TEK-err, or AW-tek-err, I switch up the
stressed syllable sometimes just for shits and giggles.

Even though I NEVER actually say these things out loud
because nobody I know listens to this shit.

And it's definitely ''Plad'', I think the image that
conjures up in my head, boxers and pillows and blankets and
goofy shirts.
