my first question:

would have you included other videos instead of this three?

I bought the DVD box set version of it, I have to say I very
rarely watch the DVD, although I like all three videos on
there.

The CD is quality though...I still love Gantz Graf and
CapVI.

wicked release! i must confess i only really started liking
the track after i saw the video, i really lenjoy it now.

the second track is the weakest and most boring of the three
imo, and cap.iv is simply brilliant, a nice melody which is
pushed to the background by the percussion when it's nearing
the climax at the end, i love it!

the video is awesome too, really adds something to the track

the cd is great... it really had to grow on me cos at first
I was cold about it, but now is a great listen everytime

and the three videos I like them, but my question is if
there would have been other videos better for the dvd (apart
from gantz graf of course)

the basscadet one is a bit old imo

i just wish there were videos like gantz graf for all
autechre tracks. wouldn't that have been mindblowing?

Yes there is something about their music that sound like
organic development of mechanical systems...the gantz graf
video managed to capture that. A visual representation of
all there music in this way would have been brilliant.

A video for capIV would be a dream come true. I wouldn't
like it to be in the same style as Gantz Graf though...it'd
get boring.

I've got my own videos made up in my mind, their albums are
very visual. I can't listen to Chiastic Slide without
picturing some rusted old metropolis. I really wouldn't WANT
videos for it... it would get in the way of my already vivid
mental image.

its funny that all of these videos have been produced by
chris cunningam , the me guy from Afx clips. For me third
clip is weakest coz its oldest and theres no such
imagination like in first two , specially clip for Gantz.
But i also agree with Ophekcs - videos for Ae music could
destroy personal way of feeling this music , althoug its god
to know that you can sometimes watch how others are seeing
music created by Rob & Sean.

very interactive - lets have hope that we will see it in

Jess Scott Hunter did Bass Cadet.

this box cd/dvd with special cover where all these clips
were made by Chris. i can sell it for 1000$ .
but seriously - i would gave my head for chris making these
three - this means that ive seen not too much videos to
reckognize producers...:)

lol, where do you get your information from???

Incunabula is actually the term used when referring to books
printed around the period of 1501 when printing was only a
relatively new thing. It comes from the Latin word cuna
meaning cradle.

well im sure that Incunabula means "childhood" , but it
means childhood of fresh born baby , with pampers. i dont
know latin - maybe it means something else too , but about
my meaning im sure for 10000000%

i wasnt refering to the word incunabula, but to the fact ae
wanted this interactive website.

and to quote the discog on this site:
'Incunabula' (from the latin 'incunabel') means 'first',
as in "first pressing of a book", and now is used to
describe any book printed prior to 1501, or indeed any
antique artifact. This makes a lot of sense, since
Incunabula is Autechre's first album..

and patterns in all three tracks.

gantz graf is the best! i've maybe listened to the other
tracks once yet :/ im satisfied after having my gantz graf
shot
what it is, it's like in literature the writer can directly
interfere in his story, and that's what happens in gg too,
the song starts off really kick ass and then they pick it up
and completely screw it around untill it goes on track again
much later
i like second bad vibe, maybe the best viddi on it, i only
think those 'feet' coming down on the camera are stupid,
anywho cant wait for the chris cunningham dvd

I've been working on a new remix of Gantz Graf. It's going
nicely.
I love the release though. First time I heard it I was
blown away. I didn't know what to think. Spikee had made me
a CD and it was on there. I was lying in bed listening to it
and suddenly it just exploded out. That 4 second gap is
there for a damn good reason. I was just lying there
thinking

Fucking hell! FUCKING HELL! What crazy geniuses
did this?

Then I looked and it was æ who i'd heard about a lot on
here. OH MAN!

its not a bad track, by any means...

but its just to intense for me... esp after remixing it... i
spent so much time listening to it, and cutting it up... the
waveforms are embedded in my brain :-\

but yeah... its definately good MUSIC

this gantz graf video is one of the most intense and amazing
music videos I have ever encountered
the complexity of that objects response is insane
its like each portion of the music is responsible for making
some sort of alteration to a function on a 3d plane
I cannot believe it, my life is forever changed after seeing
this video

i'd love to see the video in a cinema or something, on an

that'd be so intense :)

Sharing the exact same feeling (about the songs and the
videos).

Also, I find Gantz Graf (the track) to be very danceable.

Concerning the origin of the song title, I know that a
'Gantt Graph' is a project management tool (sort of
detailed schedule) ~ now I don't know if this name could
originate from there.
