And when you know someone physically and then you dump them

unless it's done to get a message across. i can't pretend to
know anyone else's relationship details but i've certainly
been criticized before for spending too much time online and
not enough time with whoever i was dating. that's why i said
the medium might be a propos considering how often marlowe's
on the computer. BUT i could be horribly, horribly
incorrect, so it's all just my opinion and such.

your wife-beating asshole of a brother? Sometimes strains

aren't za women pretty plentyful overthere? and smart as

mean AZZ FUCK!! in japan they have a word for working
one'self to death, and if i could remember it, it would
perfectly describe these women. I'm TOOOOOO layed back for
that.

no I go to Berklee, its across the bridge from MIT.

Berklee girls are:
1. Not many
2. Not that hot (most are tortured artists (ie. they are
either goth, or dirty hippy types)
3. Or they are hot, and are major diva bitches

When I played that gig at MIT, I met some hot women...
majoring in robotics engineering and other sweet stuff.

Maybe I should start crossing the bridge more often... :-\

oh yeah

and

4. They hardly ever date Berklee guys. Because there is like
a 5:1 ratio of guys to girls. So the girls are very aware
that the typical berklee guy is sex starved

but, sorry to hijack this thread with alittle seperate
conversation...

marlowe: what where her reasons for the split?

hey i'm down for some dirty hippie bitches, man. seriously!

but anyways, i'm sorry to hear that marlowe. my last g/f,
the one that fucking broke my heart, she dumped me over the

poorly conveys emotion.

I can't put you thru this anymore, I know in my heart that
yes once I wanted to be with you for the rest of my life and
had absoluity no doubt that we would ever split up. But I
guess I've grown up and grew out of you

[MORE BUT NOT GOING TO POST]

I am saying goodbye now to you paul, you were a big part of
my life and changed it very much to what I am today! you did
make me a stronger person so thanx, if you still want to
talk to me then go on cos I would still like to talk to you,
but I have to get on with my life now!

hope we can still stay friends!

That's a really awful way to get dumped, especially if
you've been together for a while. The only more impersonal
way I've heard of was a guy whose ex-BF dumped via an SMS
message.

Hugs and kisses for you! I'll say an extra blessing for you
in my evening meditation tonight.

Never mind the fact it was in an email - it's kind of
shallow and mindless. That's the way you dump someone you've

I'm sorry man but you deserve to be dumped by a better class

so much easier via text though. Maybe it wasn't nastiness,
just guilt or fear or something... I don't know. Either way,
things could have been handled better.

heh, actually, i was in the same position about a yr ago.

reasons why I chose full over rack:

mod wheel and pitch bend aren't supported

and the biggest, the nord lead has split keyboard functions,
as well as mulitple part asigned to each split. being a
pianist, i'm sure you can apreciate this. I can assign my
left to play the harmoney with totally isolated
sounds/polyphony, and have the right play the melody. or
have the left play drum samples (which the nl full has not
sure about the rack), and the right play synth, or any combo
of the 3. The nord lead is just that, a LEAD...not (what i'm
assuming you're looking for) a sound design module.

offline Zeus from San Francisco (United States) on 2003-10-19 14:31 [#00908846]
Points: 14042 Status: Lurker

yeah... i am looking for a sound design modual...

but more of a classic one... you know, just a synth... not
nessasarilly be able to do every synthesis know to man

something simple, yet diverse... which I think the nord is
(what are your thoughts?)

and about the mod wheel, and pitch bend: when you say its
not supported... you just mean its not physically on the
rack... not that it cant do those functions via midi?
