Does anybody here have used this program. I'm very sceptic
against this site. You have to give your ebay-password.
Mmmhh, very danger i think

I allows a very fast dump of a bid at a very close moment to
the very last possible bidding second.

The point is that you have to give your ebay-password. Do
not trust!

sounds suspect with the ebay password thing.

what happens if 2 people use the program? which is more
likely for rare stuff anyway?! dunno

Well you can set how close to the auction (in seconds) that
you want the bid placed. Whoever gets it in there last. It's
dependent on servers as well. If you put 1 second then your
not guarenteed getting the bid in. If you put 2 then you're
more guarenteed etc..

You may as well do it yourself, without the security risk.
Like I said in the ebay thread, I got down to three seconds
the other day

haha, i do that too...

but if the program bids for you, it needs your
password, that i can understand... whether it's safe i don't
know. i wouldn't trust it

I have used auction sniper for a while now, and it rocks.
I've never had a prob with them mis-using my ebay info (I
was originally concerned about the same thing).

One good thing about this method (over manually sniping) is
that you don't need to be up in the middle of the night when
an auction ends to place your bid. Here's another scenario:
there was a 12" I wanted badly, so I set up my auction
sniper account to bid 5 seconds before close... my internet
account ended up going down the day the auction ended, but
since the bids are placed by auction sniper (from their
servers), my bid was placed and I won.
