is it really RDJ?

there's a user on slsk with the name rdj. i've spoken to
him and he says he's not going to prove his identity online,
yet when i asked him about the next AFX release, he told me
he has an LP for The Aphex Twin planned, and that it will be
more experimental than SAW 2.

does anyone else know this guy? and does anyone know if its
him or not?

i doubt it but you never really know.

well I do know that there will be countless folk bugging him
now. My guess is he is bloated with excrement.

"more experimental than SAW 2" = ktpa1+2.

My guess is Aphex will slip out the odd record like every 4
years or so. He`s probably too busy shagging and sayin well
tasty to make music.

This must be untrue.

There is no way.

Absolutely no way.

It's impossible.

I do not believe it.

No way did you get slsk working long enough to chat with
someone.

ktpa1+2, not sure if he'd call that experimental, but i see
what you're getting at

which is "pimp_master_1999"

person by the user name TRENT REZNOR was trent reznor. Its
really really funny go look for it !

My ICQ nick was Aphextwin for a while and I had this guy msg
me saying "Im richard D james"

i know the guy with the name Billy Corgan on AIM...and he's
not Billy.

and i tried to get rdj to listen to my tracks, but he's
ignoring me now.

watch this really be him and the more we talk about it, the
more pissed he gets, and he eventually throws away his
masters of "SAW 3" and "I care because you do too" and
releases "Smojphace again".

initials. that'd be asking for trouble.

people on the internet are often big liars, commonly found
to have their underwear drenched in licking flames

I once claimed to Brian Eno and held a conversation with
someone on SLSK -- it was fun when they asked me why I was
downloading one of my albums from them . . .

Sean of AE posted on the Usenet, on alt.music.autechre, a
couple of years ago. It was him, 100% sure.

" peggy babcock " was his screename.

It could only be Sean

I remember Sean posting back then....actually, back in the
day (ahem), it was quite common for the objects of affection
to randomly appear in their own newsgroup. David Lynch
springs to mind, or David Bowie. On a related note, I
remember Roger Avary (the forgotten co-screenwriter of Pulp
Fiction) being blasted by people for supposedly
impersonating himself on alt.fan.tarantino back in '94,
simply because he wanted to present his side of the story
(i.e. how QT ripped him off). Nobody believed him, so he
just fucked off.

It's funny with Google you can easily check out Sean's post
on alt.music.autechre, he had a great trollish attitude, he
would even get in fights with people who didn't like AE :)
