SUCKS!!!

Just wanted to inform yall.

Just wanted to say that.. it really is a big "tumb down"
kind of album.

Not my taste and probably some of yall will like it but its
a big dissapointment. But after the first awful single Freak
I wasnt that amped n hyped.

I'm loving what I've heard from Sheath. Freak has a much
cooler robot voice than I Love Acid.

Boring old backwards retro old techno shit.

boring sounds, boring melodies, boring drums and like 2 good
8maybe 3) songs out of 11.

I agree, I actually listened to it as I'd heard so much said
about it on the board, and I really think what the majority
say about it is overrated.

"Boring old techno shit"

In fact I'm really not a big LFO fan in the
slightest.....don't think much of it at all.

pitchfork gives it a 7.1, for what it's worth. i think it

Unless you're refering to the "Lite Funky Ones", LFO has
been just Mark for a while now...

Well I'm not gonna say I like it, just because you do. I'm
giving my honest opinion. I searched for the topic, and saw
another topic that suggested those that didn't like it post
here. So with reference to your comment, I don't really
care, and any artist who is worthwhile would be able to deal
with negative comments as well as the good.

Chill out d00d!! BTW. Dont you have work to do? :P

I like this album. It's pretty nice and varied. A couple of
bad tracks but don't most albums?

Sheath is an incredibly great-sounding and varied album,
great to listen to imo, which isn't always the case with
lots of other albums.

My Review of Sheath...

First of all, if you are just into the "mathematics of
music" or how "technical" the beatwork is, this album
probably isn't for you. However if you like music because
it can be a good, fun, enjoyable listen then you will
probably love this album. It has variety and feel good
moments that you normally don't get in the shitty scene that
is now known as IDM.

Listen to this album without expecting it to sound a certain
way, without jumping the comparisons of the so called "warp
sound" and you will be rewarded with an Warp records album
you can stick on when you have mates around without feeling
like a complete cock.

at best its extremely average for 1993 - for 2004 its a
crock (but it came out at the arse end of 2003 - but its
still a crock)

it has about 6 or 7 minutes on the whole CD that were ok ish
..
