Amazingly cool operating system!

and to think all I had to do is boot it from the CD and its
running!
Anyone out there nerdy enough to have run this yet!

If all goes well.. its bye-bye Windows! ;D

isn't that the linux debian that you can run from a bootable
CD?

If so, I have it.

Is the downloadable SuSE any good, or do they cripple and
take out a lot of shit to make you buy the box set?

I use Red Hat because I'm lazy.

well, i bought SuSE pro cause i wanted the manuals and all
the bundled stuff.

the basic downloadable version is relatively stripped for
the peeps that want a mega minimal install. i don't think
it comes with KDE or gnome, although i'm not 100%. but,
everything that comes with the bundled version is
downloadable from their site, plus YaST makes it freakin'
super easy to download additional packages and updates.
