But the way the world (and people's lives)

It's fucked up you NEED to get a job,

 | Key Secret,
So you gotta make a bit of effort. You gotta appreciate how
far mankind has come. Opportunities abound. You need to see
life not so much in a restrictive way as to what its taking
away from you as to what you can take from it. Its the glass
half empty vs glass half full rule.

 | Key Secret,
The problem is you're fixating on what you haven't got. Its
a sad way to exist. And it doesn't actually get you
 anywhere.

In the society we live in the standard of living is good.
You have food, a warm house, social life and entertainment.
But some people are just never happy no matter how much
money they have. Fact is money doesn't necessarily make a
difference if you're an unhappy person to start with.

More people are poor than rich. Yes you're stating the
obvious, so? So answer this, what motivates the rich man if
you take away 'all' his wealth from him? Why should he work
harder than you (and rest assured he does) just so he can
see his results taxed away from him and given to you and
others? You just don't seem to get it. The reason why there
are few rich and many poor as you put it; is because to
become rich very few are capable of this. They have the
metal and will power to stick with what they're doing and
then finally get to where they want to be. Why is this is so
hard to understand? If it was so easy to become a
millionaire then everybody would be one. It isn't. Why not
try applauding their achievements instead of wanted to RIP
it away from them like some frustrated little child. Be a
man Key Secret, be a man.

 | heh I am a man. But you have to agree on that it should be optional to earn
money and food/land should be free (so you can basically do
'nothing' if you don't want to).
The thing is, things; even money, could work if people was
able to do what they enjoy doing the most and earn money
 from that.
But all people can't and therefor it will bring more people
 down than up.
Why waste your life doing something you don't like for
several hours each day? It's crazy. It's just the way things
have developed, not the *best possible situation*.

 | this argument simply isnt valid. its impossible for people to become rich, not at the expense of others, basic
capitalist economic flaw. its all very well saying that rich
people work their asses off to get to where they are now,
but a lot of poor people will never even have this
oppertunity. hell, a lot of people will never even have
basic human rights that so many of us take for granted.

 | Well I'm actually talking about first world countries. What the fuck have 3rd world countries got to do with this
discussion? People living in 1st World countries just don't
have the same excuses. Whether people have the balls or not
to go out and stake their claim in the world is one thing
but quite frankly everything I've stated is pretty much 1st
grade stuff. Come on seriously its all pretty obvious.

 | Having a different idea of how the world should work (for the benefit of the MAJORITY, not their oppressors) is not a
sign of "weakness" or lack of "fucking backbone." Showing
intolerance like that makes a mockery of your own ideas.

 | And for the record, the 3rd world's poverty is a MAJOR part of this discussion, how many millionaire CEOs profit from
third world near-slave labour and trade agreements that give
power to the rich at the expense of the poor's human rights?
Name one global company that hasn't made a large proportion
 of its millions this way.

 | deepspace9mm,
No not at all. Its just the difference between being a
defeatist in life and being someone who isn't. I'm really
sorry but the tone in this thread is not one of unheeding
spirit, its more one of give up before the race has even
started. So sorry if I don't want to be part of that fucking
mentality but I fucking don't. So you can keep you friggen'
 defeatist shit to yourselves.
