How do you pronounce ambient? "ambi-ent" or the more
correct french pronunciation "ambi-awnt"?

When i started listening to aphex and was talking about saw2
or whatever, i was oblivious to the correct french
pronunciation. Now if i try to say 'ambi-awnt' it just
sounds slightly contrived.

Say it how you feel comfortable saying it. That's what
language is for really. If you say hurjiuittttty instead of
ambient though you're just being silly. As long as it's
basically the same then it doesn't really matter that much.

i don't know.... like Murray said, i guess.

(by the way, i am french and i always wondered why people
had problems knowing how to pronounce "Autechre", in french
"Autechre" just sounds like [otekr] naturally...)
