well, not that i expected much, but this movie sort of
sucked. fine concept for a monster movie, but its all wasted
on cliche after cliche and some sort of cool but derivative
action scenes that would probably be in the wachowski's
trash bin.

2/5

Do most of the songs from the soundtrack show up somewhere
in the movie? That's one of the main reasons I'd like to see
it. I'm not really into watching movies, and like music 10
times better. So good music in a movie can raise it from
mediocre too atleast good.

it hardly has anything to do with the white wolf universe,
so i'm not sure how they can sue. they should sue the makers
of blade, thats alot more derivative of masquerade.

I found it creative and enjoyable but ultimately
forgettable. The computer animation was a real turn off..
just like EVERY OTHER FUCKING COMPUTER ANIMATED MOVIE these
days. Geez, when will they learn that pure effects don't
make a movie any cooler? But other than that I found the
concept intriguing and it kept my interest.

tis disappointing to hear this moo V was not all that, i'm
not surprised, but why can't hollywood make a decent scary
flick these days?!!?!? it seems like all these films coming
are totally tanking....ie. cabin fever, and cold creek
manor.

i'll prolly see it for the fx, and to see how they placed
the music in the film. i'm not a big fan of computer fx, and
i agree it's disappointing that they are using that more and
more!

I've just got back from this and enjoyed it. I was going in
with the lowest of expectations, but what I was presented
with really didn't deserve the majority of reviews I've
read.

The film definitely holds a major debt to the style of The
Matrix and Blade franchises, but to behonest, I like that
style a lot and really don't mind seeing it again.

The major thing in it's favour is Kate Beckinsale, who
totally kicks ass, and looks totally gorgeous. There's a
spell around 2/3 of the way into the film where she drops
out of it for a bit, and you really notice her absence
because it kind of lays the film bare. It's fair to say that
it's 100% dependent on her presence.

I didn't find the film particularly cliche-ridden at all,
but maybe I haven't watched enough vampire and werewolf
movies.

Finally, a word about Shane Brolly, who plays Kraven. He
delivers what must be the worst performance I have ever seen
in a major movie. One that's even worse than Sofia Coppola
in The Godfather Part 3. In their scenes together,
Beckinsale wipes the floor with him.

was there really any need for the head vamp to go like he
did? [hint: slidey head]

it was ok. Not great, but very easy to watch

It was about as Romeo & Juliet as Bill Clinton and Monica
Lewinsky.
