does anyone here use this program? it keeps shutting down on me whenever I try to open a specific session (.ses) file

i use it.. sometimes it does crash but usually when you reopen it it'll recover the file, which is nice
your .ses file may be corrupted or too complicated

spose all you can really do is try opening the file on another computer with CEP on it.
of course that means you will have to copy all of yer waves to the 2nd computer and put them in the same directories, but i guess you dont need all of them, the CEP on the 2nd computer should just popup saying a few files are missing.

well, i used it before, but i don't now.
i actually use an older CoolEdit. it's pretty good tool if you like breaksample sushi.

if I uninstall and reinstall the program.. that won't affect any of the ses files I have right? (stupid/paranoid question)

If you want to exclude certain WAVs the just move them. It will ask where they are. Just tell it to skip them.

Is there anyway to get Audition to give me back the CoolEdit functionality of the right mouse button?
RMB used to allow me to change waveform selections, now it opens a crappy menu.

Try opening the .ses in notpad and see if the files are present there... Or simply rename (in explorer) the wav that you believe is causing the problem so that CEP2 doesn't open it.
