British rail are beyond a joke... You cannot find information out as all sources (rail timetables, phonelines, ticket offices and website) all differ. I now have no (real) idea at what time I will be arriving at paddington, whether I will have to wait there to meet up with Chris Brown or even how much my ticket will cost. To compound matters, I will have to hang around paddington for 3 hours as supposedly the 5.40am train to Cardiff is in "peak time" whereas the 9.25am one isn't. Quite how that works is unclear as I have made this journey in the past and the trains have about 10 people on them up until 7.00am and by 9.00am they are heaving. Bristish Rail = Utter farce, I will never use rail over my car if at all possible. Sadly, going to London is one of those cases where driving just isn't an option so you're forced to take whatever they dish out. If I hadn't already bought my ticket, I wouldn't be coming. It has annoyed me that much. |

OK, finally worked out, we're getting the 5 o' clock train to Cardiff to catch the 6.30 to London, we'll be up there pretty late I would guess, about 9.30-10. Me and two birds :/ Make sure you hook up with us, I want some masculine company! |
